Here is my first wager for the event:

John Isner to defeat Evgeny Donskoy to win 1.00 unit from a -280 line.

Reasons
* Isner has more Aces (380-116)
* Isner has fewer Double Faults (41-51)
* Isner has more 1st Serve Points Won (77% to 73%)
* Isner has more Service Games Won (87% to 81%)
* Isner has more Total Points Won (50% to 49%)

Good luck to all of us. :shake:

Solid reasoning

GL SOAL

Thank you Schrute. I just don't see the point of people not giving a reason or two as to why they're on a side, team or person in this case. That last statement stopped me from reading certain posters posts. Nobody is going to win every wager but if reasons are listed, it might help others who in turn might post their reason(s) which might trigger a new idea for a person. Karma, it's a beautiful thing! Thank you and to you as well.

GL with that play, just too much juice for me.
reasons are one thing but some people have built a reputation and know what they're doing

Thank you. Having just made a withdraw recently, I want to rebuild that balance asap and with a 73.68% of cashing it I think it's a pretty good starting place but, we won't know that until later today. Reputations aside, I like to know why a person is on that selection because it might either help another person or myself think of something else to include for coming up with a selection.

While that match was about two years ago, it gives credence to the data/stats above as those
from this year's Wimbledton as the same type of pattern is present. As such, I have wagered
Lisicki, -197, to win 1.00 unit.

Her real service game got dusted off wayy too late. You weren't the only one had

It seemed like Lisicki wasn't able to play "her game" as she had done to get to that point. Sorry you lost too. Bartoli played better, congrats on winning and now being ranked 7th.

Sabine was the right play but her title as a favourite probably clouded her.
The way I saw the match, Sabine lost it, rather than Bartoli beating her. You could see the nerves in the first service game for Sabine, poor ball toss, not being able to keep rallies long enough.
Good tournament so far, GL if you wager on the mens tomorrow.

Thank you I thought so as well but was wrong. Both players were shakey the first couple games but Bartoli settled down/into the game quicker. For a brief minute or so when she held serve, broke threw and then won the next game I was thinking she'd finally shaken the cob-webbs. While losing is never fun, watching her make that mini-run tells me she'll be back. It might not be next year, but she'll be back and when she gets there, she's going to win.

Thank you and to you as well.

PS I also like you have "All Human Sports" :)
Thank you, this is because I also will post auto, horse and greyhound racing at times. Just me being me. :shake:
