Wendlstedt was in Atlanta
Hernandez was in Florida
Dowdy was in Milwakee
West was in StL
Emmel was in Chicago
Gibson was in Cincy
Knight was in Zona
Gooch was in Frisco

Will be around 4:00 to 5:00 for the announcements.

Shorty

Looking at the early line movements today, it would appear that "E" is headed to STL. If that's the case, the value has all but been bet out of his "UNDER" there... Back a little later when it all goes down, and I'll try to contribute but it will be much tougher now that I am working...

Ya Rex...being that "E" was in KC seems like the logical place that he would end up. That line was at 9, now at 8 1/2 and prolly go to 8 when he's announced.

Did you get a copy of my spreadsheet last night? Club member list is really tightening up right now. I'll prolly be looking at the 3 week hot list for potential ump plays. We potentially have some good ones coming out of the bushes today...We'll see.

Talk at you later.

Hey short would like to contribute a lot more here. Think you could just PM me a list of the current club members and if they are an over or under guy. Feels like Im not doing anything here and when you guys are busy I could then just post em.

Good deal Sig, thanks for the help. Shorty - Be sure to explain to him what the difference is between the Covers percentages (SY system) and the strike/ball actual called percentages (SHORT system)...

Back in a bit...

Yep...both guys have low WHIP's and combined average of 84.5% UNDERS this season.

Looking at the list of umps, I'm guessing:

Dowdy
Emmel
West
Joyce

If that's the case...I hope Dowdy is behind the dish there.

Greatstuff guys,

I am sure you prob said this but Shortline, where do you pull ur stats from?

Something to watch for in Cincy...In the last 2 weeks, Reed has called more balls than strikes at a rate of 47.58% (excludes hit balls). This ranks him as the #2 OVER guy on my list for that period.

Note: In those 2 weeks, he has been behind the plate only twice.

No play for me...just tracking how the system works for a 2 week period.

Two righties, another guy I respect is on OVER... but wind blowing IN and Oswalt owns the Reds... gonna pass it...

WENDLESTEDT in St. Louis... That is also the only game that has a chance to get rained out....

Joe West in Milwakee..."Not a Member". I might hit the OVER in this game. Dome is closed and lots of runs when closed.

so, no over in Milwakee ?

I played it (small). Expect no help from HP Ump West. I've seen this guy behind the plate and he has one of the most inconsistent strikezone that I ever seen. He could have a tight strikezone early in the game, than widen that zone later on. Play is based solely on the fact that lots of games go OVER when the lid is closed at Miller Park. We'll see...

Damn...Just looked at MLB.com and doesn't appear the lid is closed in Milwakee. I assumed that the weather showing 30% chance of rain that it would be closed. Oh well...that's why I played it small anyway.

Pops's theory is that the roof open is GOOD for the OVER in Milk... The roof being closed raises the humidity and makes the air heavier.

Welcome to the gig, Man On Fire...

What a tough way to lose that game.

The Mets make two errors in the field behind Olly Perez in the 5th. First, Easley misplays a ground ball. Then, with 2 outs, the Johnny mishandles a sinking liner (admittedly a semi-difficult play) and the Giants go on to score 6 or 7 runs - almost all unearned...

Can't control that, but UNDER was definitely the right side of the game.

Back in the mornin...
