Sometimes the system calls for a ML play, not opposed to anything under -220. Spread is where the books trip folks up with favorites.

Since 2010, road faves cover at just over 50% but win straight-up at 70%. Massive margin in betting terms.

'Betting' margins in the NBA so much better than the NFL. NFL lines are wound so tight and it's only gotten tighter.
