For many years the Niners are almost an auto-play for me on Monday nights. Going full juice and eliminating the spread for the same units I'd usually risk on an ATS play obviously for less 'reward' but at this stage I'll take anything in order to get my season going. Do think they cover but all the money is on the -3. Lambs' defense just ain't there this season and this trip maybe just what the sputtering Niners need.

I got Harbaugh's SU record in prime-time games to be 10-3 SU and 8-5 ATS (avg line -4) with an average margin of victory in the ten wins of 17.1 ±8.6 points per game. A trip to StL in prime-time was exactly what they needed last season after getting their asses kicked by Seattle in week two and the Colts in week three. I placed the same bet earlier today.

San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick arguably plays his best football on the primetime stage on Monday Night Football, posting a straight up record of 3-0 and a QB rating of 126.8 in his young career.

Kaepernick has gone 2-1 against the spread in his three Monday starts and get's his first shot of the 2014 campaign versus the Rams in Week 6.

His only failure ATS was Week 16 last season. The 49ers were 14-point home favorites against the Atlanta Falcons and won 34-24, coming up just shy for their backers.
