Hope everyone is doing well. Baseball opening day has been fun so far. Loking forward to what should be a great final four this year. Going to be a great sports week no doubt. Lets see what we can get accomplishd this evening. Put these plays in approx 1:30 est so those are the lines I got. I think one moved up a half point.
Dallas -5.5 -110
The injuries, the adjustmens to Kidd and the coaching of Mr. Avery Johnson have simply overwhelmed the Mavericks. They are on their last legs right now as far as making a playoff push. Their only win since 3-16 was against this hapless Clippers squad. Their next three games are Golden State, at the Lakers and at Phoenix. This is a must win in every aspect. I like the fact that the Clippers are off a win. Thornton was great in that game as was uh-oh Maggetio. I would play this a bit larger but I would of rather had the line lower. Still, this is a must win so e'll lay out a unit on it.
Atlanta -3 -110 4 units
Atlanta after being such an up and down team for 2/3 of the season has started to really come around. They have won 7 of 10 games and have a viable shot at making the playoffs. The teams played in early December at Phillips and Atlanta won 86-78 covering the 4.5 points. Memphis did beat the Lakers recently but have been very unimpressive other than that. This is a typical late season play and lets roll with the Hawks. I think its a very fair number for our side.
Toronto -2.5 -110 3 units
Back to back game for Toronto off the loss to the Hornets. The Raptors really tumbled for awhile but have slightly righted the ship in the last week. The defense has improved with Mr. Bosh back in the line-up. They def. need to step things up right now as they are in a battle royal with Philadelphia and Washington as far as positioning goes for the playoffs. Charlotte has been very impressive as of late. They won the last 3 legs of their Western road trip including a win against the Lakers. That being said, this is a very bad situational spot for the Cats. They are off just one day rest from the road trip. Dig deeper though, they have played 9 of their last 10 games on the road. Bravo on the nice wins out west but I see a pretty lethargic squad coming out to play tonight.
