St Louis Cardinals* -107 vs Washington Nationals 107/100....As much as I like the Nats, I have enough of their lack of offense the last few games. Haren has struggled since returning to the National League in the offseason. Haren (1-2, 8.10 ERA), who can't seem to get on track. The former three-time All-Star was tagged for seven runs - three earned - and seven hits over 4 1-3 innings of Tuesday's 8-2 loss at Miami. He hasn't pitched more than six innings, giving up at least seven hits, including a four-home run game in his opener against the Reds. Leadoff hitter Span is batting .174 (4 for 23) in his last six games while No. 2 hitter Werth is 2 for 14 in the last four. Cardinals starter Miller (2-1, 1.96 ERA), who's struck out 18 over his first three starts spanning 18 1-3 innings. The 22-year-old right-hander gave up two runs over six frames Wednesday in a 5-0 loss at Pittsburgh. Beltran stayed hot with two hits Sunday but saw his three-game home run streak come to an end. He's batting .438 over the last four games. Matt Holliday will be back in the lineup after getting the night off Sunday. The slugging left fielder is a career .328 hitter versus Washington in the regular season. We all know the Nats has had some offense early on the season but it has disappeared...but it can re-appear just as fast but I dont think so tonite
I'll be in an out all day so the plays will trickle in

GLTA

St Louis Cardinals/Washington Nationals* Over 7 -130 130/100

St Louis Cardinals -1 +116* vs Washington Nationals 100/116

Pittsburgh Pirates* -110 vs Philadelphia Phillies 110/100
Pittsburgh Pirates* -1 +114 vs Philadelphia Phillies 100/114
Pittsburgh Pirates/Philadelphia Phillies* Over 7 -155 155/100...Burnett is 1-1, 1.96 in his last three starts while
Pettibone allowed 12 runs in 9.1 IP in two AAA starts this year and this is his MLB debut. The way the Pirates are hitting against good experienced pitching, this could get ugly in a hurry.

Milwaukee Brewers* -115 vs San Diego Padres 115/100
Milwaukee Brewers* -1 +102 vs San Diego Padres 100/102
Milwaukee Brewers/San Diego Padres* Under 7½ -155 155/100...two decent SP here with Lohse @ 2.70 RA in three starts, but no wins. Marquis is 1-0, 2.13 in his last couple starts. Brewers won their last seven games, scoring 39 runs while Padres lost eight of their last eleven games.I'll stay with the hot team even on the road where they have not played really well @ SD I think the Brewers make it 8 in a row tonite

Cincinnati Reds* -155 vs Chicago Cubs 155/100
Cincinnati Reds* -1 -115 vs Chicago Cubs 115/100
Chicago Cubs/Cincinnati Reds* Over 8 -130 65/50...Leake has a 4.26 RA in three starts this season. He went 0-1 with a 6.11 ERA in three starts against the Cubs last season - all at Wrigley Field. But he is 3-0 with a 2.12 ERA in four starts against them at Great American Ball Park.Wood is 1-1, 2.29 in three starts this season and while the Cubbies have show a few signs of a good team, I cant back them here tonite. Votto is breaking out of his early power slump and Bruce will break out just any time.

San Francisco Giants* -122 vs Arizona Diamondbacks 61/50
Arizona Diamondbacks/San Francisco Giants* Under 7½ -155 155/100...Vogelsong (1-1, 5.89 ERA) hasn't been stellar but is coming off his best effort of the season as he gave up three runs and five hits in seven innings in a 4-3 loss at Milwaukee on Wednesday.Wade Miley, who has yet to allow a single run in the first three innings of his three starts in 2013, is 5-0 with a 2.01 ERA in the month of April over the last two seasons. I think the DBack have the best starter but San Francisco has won six straight home games, shutting out its opponent in three of those contests. I like them to get this win again tonite in a close one an Zona still trying to get their offense in gear

Thanks Cash, a little pissed at losing about 26 U's in 4 days We are getting enough stats now to capp the bases the way I think they should be capped GL my friend

Boston Red Sox* -140 vs Oakland Athletics 70/50
Oakland Athletics/Boston Red Sox* Under 9 -155 155/100... this is more of a situational play than anything else going with the ""Boston Strong'''' theme. The A's headed into Tampa Bay with the AL's best record, but hit .179 and went 3 for 25 with runners in scoring position while being outscored 17-4 in the sweep so list them as being cold at present but Griffin is 2-0, 2.25 in three starts this season. Red Sox won first two Doubront starts (1-0, 4.50) scoring 13 runs. Hope I'm not forcing the wrong team here. Monday will mark one week since the marathon bombings, and the Red Sox have tried to do their part to lift up their city's spirits. Boston (12-6) beat Kansas City 4-3 on Saturday but couldn't keep their momentum going in a Sunday doubleheader but Red Sox blew leads in both games, including one that was a makeup for Friday's postponement. I just dont have a warm fuzzy feeling about this game.

Thank U for posting Heinekens....I dont do NBA...but if u say this is a winner, I respect u enough to follow. I am glad to see u on the Brewers. GL my friend...keep on posting.

Thanks Cash, a little pissed at losing about 26 U's in 4 days We are getting enough stats now to capp the bases the way I think they should be capped GL my friend

I still need a few more starts by the starters. FWIW I am currently using weather as a key factor on mlb total betting & it seems to be working...an experiment in process of course, but am having fun with it & making a few sheckles at the same time. With the exception of Miami & Houston there is alot of parody imo & I don't see either scenario changing as the season moves forward.

Toronto Blue Jays* +116 vs Baltimore Orioles 20/23 ...not in love with this one but I do like Happ @ 1-1, 7.59 in his last couple starts against Tillman is 0-1, 6.91 in three starts this season.Toronto has lost four of six and is last in the AL East despite salvaging its finale against the New York Yankees with an 8-4 comeback win on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Rays* -120 vs New York Yankees 120/100...Moore has the fifth-best ERA in the majors at 1.00, including two shutouts, while giving up only eight hits and striking out 20 batters. The under is 2-0-1 in his starts. Sabathia is 3-0, 1.96 in his last three starts.Rays bats finally warmed up a bit scoring at least six runs in four of their last five.

Cleveland Indians* -111 vs Chicago White Sox 111/100
Cleveland Indians/Chicago White Sox* Over 7 -185 92/50... Masterson is 3-1, 1.67 in four starts this season while Axelrod is 0-1, 5.28 in three starts. Masterson has accounted for nearly half of the Cleveland Indians' victories, including a performance that impressed Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura less than two weeks ago.The Indians have won two consecutive games after losing each of their previous five games. The White Sox have scored a total of just five runs during their current three-game losing streak. Cleveland has won five of its last eight games against the White Sox, including two of the three matchups between these teams this season.

Braves or Rocks?

SportsFanatic...believe it or not, I am NOT going to play the Braves tonite. If peps bet the Rocks up a bit more, I may even but a small play on them just to spite the Braves, whom I am really pissed.Braves in a slump, bats are cold and Dan Uggla is probably out.Capping the game we probably have the two best teams thus far in the NL Atlanta has started the season 13-5, though they did lose Sunday at Pittsburgh, 4-2. In fact, the loss was the third straight for the Braves after starting the season 13-2. The Rockies were a perfect 8-0 at home this season until they lost Sunday to the Diamondbacks, 5-4. Still, Colorado has won nine of their last 10 games overall. Francis is 1-1 this season but does have a high 8.25 ERA. Minor for the Braves with a 2-1 mark and 0.95 ERA. Minor is 1-0 in two games against Colorado in his career with a 6.00 ERA. Now that Colorado has lost a home game, one could look for that to continue on Monday. The Braves could get a boost from cleanup hitter Freddie Freeman back tonite. I think Atl has proved that they are not a cold weather team as the have lost 4 of 5 in cold weather, one at home.
They most likely dont get this game in as Denver is expecting snow on Monday. Weather models are predicting temperatures around the freezing mark and a 60 percent chance of a rain/snow mix.

No play for me on the Braves.

BOL on whatever u decide to play SF

Houston Astros* +152 vs Seattle Mariners 152/100 ...two bad teams here. Mariners lost nine of their last twelve games. Houston lost six of its last seven games. At this price I will play the worse of these two teams because even with Hernandez on the hill, but they are not a good road team at 3-7. Even King Felix isn't getting it done, with the team 1-3 in his four starts. His ERA is better at home than on the road, which was the case last year, and the last three years he is just 18-19 away from home. That's because this Seattle offense is terrible at 26th in runs scored, 28th in on-base percentage and ranked 29th in slugging and batting average. The Mariners are 0-5 in their last five road games, 1-9 in Hernandez's last ten starts and 5-13 in Hernandez's last 18 starts during game 1 of a series. Houston has a better offense at 15th in runs score and 12th in slugging. Peacock has fanned 15 in 13+ innings while allowing only 11 hits. Houston is 7-1 in the last eight meetings with Seattle and the Mariners are 1-4 in the last five meetings in Houston.

Texas Rangers* +101 vs Los Angeles Angels 100/101 ...Holland is 1-1, 1.64 in three starts this season. Blanton is 0-3, 9.20 in three starts this season. Blanton with a 8.59 ERA, .377 OBA and 2.05 WHIP. He has given up 26 hits in 14.2 innings of work, lasting 5 or less innings in all three starts. Last season he split time with the Dodgers and Phillies and had a 10-13 record with a 4.71 ERA. Take note that the Rangers are 35-17 in Holland's last 52 starts. I think Tex keeps rolling against Blanton

and last but not least...I hope A small RoundRobin Amreican League parlay in treys

GL luck Bloody! Looking forward to the NFL Draft. I'm hearing the Rams have De' Andre Hopkins in for a 2nd interview. I love the pick at #22 if they get him. At #16, Im hoping Warmack or Cooper falls somehow. Any opinion on Jarvis vs Olgetree? Jarvis has the spinal issue and was clocked slow in his 40 but is very good coming off the edge. With Kapperneck we need more speed on the outside so it could be Olgetree.

P2W, Thanks pard

ELbutre, I'm going after then this wk after a bad wkend

mrob, I hope there are 'many' more winners this wk than last.

wise, talent wise, Olgetree has it all but he is a smart ass and has a lot of growing up to do And I would not want him on my team if I had another choice. Jarvis Jones health concerns may hurt him in the draft but he is one of the most disruptive players on the field as he is alway in or near the action

hugh, Thank U Sir

Cash, I look forward to ur plays
