In yesterdays game the Clipper bench provided 9 points
After 3 or more consecutive losses NO is 7-2 ATS

I don't like tonight's games.
Small leans to Dallas, Clips and Detroit, but just not enough to put my money on it.

Detroit should win GSW without their Centers, but Detroit in a slump right now.

Clips should win, but the line is borderline, doubt Clippers will trash NO in NO.

Knicks are starting to be "due" for a win - very streaky team that could be on a verge of stopping the losing streak.

In the Detroit game the 3 refs are
Barnakay 9-4 over at over at 205 and up
Spooner 7-3 over
Maddox 1-9 over at the 205
Maddox with GS

[h=2]WARRIORS AT PISTONS, 7:30 P.M. ET[/h] February 24, 2014 · 6:33PM
TV: League Pass

  • Golden State forward David Lee will miss his second consecutive game because of a stomach flu. Center Andrew Bogut, who has missed seven straight games with a left shoulder injury, went through shootaround and is expected to play. Draymond Green is the likely starter in place of Lee.
  • Green, who starred at Michigan State, has not shot well in his second NBA season but is averaging 20.3 minutes because of his all-around contributions. “He came into this league ready to play because of his knowledge of the game, because of his work ethic, because of his competitive nature,” Warriors coach Mark Jackson said. “He was a steal for us.”
  • The Warriors are opening a six-game road trip but have won 10 of their last 13 away games. “The thing that gives us confidence is we’re a defensive-minded team,” Jackson said. “We understand that we are more than capable of going on the road and winning ballgames. That’s the thing that remains constant about this team and we’re excited about this trip.”
  • Detroit interim coach John Loyer said Jackson has changed Golden State’s identity. “They’re explosive offensively but the thing that really separates Golden State from the last few years is they really guard,” Jackson said. “They have size inside that can protect the rim and their perimeter guys, especially with the addition of (Andre) Iguodala now, can all keep you in front.”
  • Pistons backup point guard Will Bynum is averaging 22 minutes, 11.5 points and 5.8 assists in the first six games with Loyer as head coach. “Will is pretty much the same guy every night,” Loyer said. “He brings tremendous energy, can score in the open floor and can run the pick and roll.”

[h=2]BUCKS AT 76ERS, 7 P.M. ET[/h] February 24, 2014 · 6:10PM
TV: League Pass

  • The Sixers will have some reinforcements for Monday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. After pulling off four separate trades before the deadline, the Sixers had just eight players available for Friday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. Centers Henry Sims and Byron Mullens and guard Eric Maynor are all available. “They’re all good to go,” Sixers coach Brett Brown said. Forward Danny Granger, who was acquired from the Indiana Pacers for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen, isn’t at the arena and obviously won’t play. Brown said that a decision on Granger’s future with the team hasn’t immediately been made.
  • The Sixers have dropped 10 straight games overall and 20 of the last 23. They’ve also lost nine in a row at home, their most since a 12-game skid in 1996-97.
  • Sixers guard James Anderson is their only player to appear in all 56 games this season.
  • Milwaukee (10-45) is the worst team in the league and the Sixers have the second-worst record record at 15-41.
  • Bucks forward Caron Butler is out with a left ankle injury. Guard Carlos Delfino (right foot surgery), forward Ekpe Udoh (right knee) and center Larry Sanders (fractured orbital bone) are all out.
  • The Bucks have lost two straight games and 21 of their last 24. “I just keep rolling my sleeves up,” Bucks coach Larry Drew said. “These aren’t very easy situations to endure.”
  • Bucks forward-center John Henson has blocked at least one shot in 21 straight games.

[h=2]MAVERICKS AT KNICKS, 7:30 P.M. ET[/h] February 24, 2014 · 6:04PM
TV: League Pass

  • The Knicks officially announced that they have waived Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih. “We are disappointed that it did not work out for Beno and Metta here in New York,” GM Steve Mills said in a statement. “We thank them for their contributions this season and wish them well.” In response to comments his brother, Daniel Artest, made on Twitter, World Peace Tweeted: “Knicks franchise is not trash. My brother was just anxious for me to play. I had tons of fun with the organization.” As for whom the Knicks might add to fill the roster spots, Woodson said: “Hopefully, we’ll make some decisions sometime tomorrow based on who’s out there.” Woodson said the team was looking for a perimeter defender and a big. “If we can find a guy who can defend a little bit at the perimeter spot it will help and maybe another big based on the fact that Kenyon and Barnani are still out,” he said.
  • The Knicks continue to be without Iman Shumpert (knee), Kenyon Martin (ankle) and Andrea Bargnani (elbow). “He’s still in his boot and we just gotta wait on him until he gets back,”Woodson said of Bargnani. Asked if Bargnani might miss the rest of the season, Woodson said, “Don’t know.”
  • The Knicks will start Raymond Felton, Pablo Prigioni, Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler.
  • The Knicks (21-35) have lost two straight, five of six and eight of 10. They are 5 1/2 games back of the No. 8 spot in the East.
  • The Mavericks (34-23) enter having won two straight on this road trip, beating Philadelphia and Detroit.
  • The Mavericks will start Shawn Marion, Dirk Nowitzki and Samuel Dalembert up front with Monta Ellis and Jose Calderon in the backcourt.

Jazz have allowed an average of 100.7 ppg. They have allowed 94 or more in 12 of their last 14 games played. Yet the C's team total is set at 93.5? I'm playing under I think Jazz win but it's an ugly game with more defense than usual.

from TBT:

"Utah Jazz starting center Derrick Favors will be back against the Boston Celtics tonight after missing three straight games with a sprained right hip. Favors, however, will play a limited number of minutes. He has made gradual progress since suffering the injury against the Philadelphia 76ers on Feb. 12, and Utah is thrilled to have him back. “We’ll give him all the minutes we can play him,” Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin said. “We’ll see how it goes.”
Utah simply has a better shot at winning when Favors starts and Enes Kanter comes off the bench. The Jazz are 0-9 in games that Favors has missed, and 1-24 in games that Kanter has started. When both play, it helps Utah’s depth and makes the team more formidable. “They’ve got good young bigs and they’ll be a challenge for us,” said Boston coach Brad Stevens.
Boston will only have 10 players available tonight. The good news for the Celtics is that Rajon Rondo will play after sitting out the second game of a back-to-back against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. Jared Sullinger is still out after suffering a mild concussion against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night. Avery Bradley and Vitor Faverani are rehabbing injuries. Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, Brandon Bass and Jeff Green will join Rondo in the starting lineup.
With his college coach at Butler on the other bench, the Jazz would be thrilled if Gordon Hayward snapped out of his slump tonight. In February, Hayward is shooting 6-for-34 from 3-point range (17.6 percent) and 30-for-101 (29.7 percent) overall. More troubling for Utah is that in the Jazz’s last game, a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, Hayward had no assists and zero rebounds. “We need him to play well for us,” Corbin said of Hayward. “He struggled in his last game here. It’s important for him to not only make shots for us but also to make plays for his teammates. Last game he didn’t have his best game. We’re going to scrap that game. We look forward to him having a good game [tonight].”
Count Stevens, who went to one of his two Final Fours at Butler with Hayward as his star player, as someone who believes that Hayward will turn things around soon. “I wouldn’t be concerned if I were you,” Stevens said. “His mental makeup is high level. He puts a chip on his shoulder when things don’t go well. I really hope that he starts playing well … tomorrow morning.”
