My Play:
2-Team Teaser

PIT -4 & Under 42.5
(Teased 6.0 points)
3.3 units to win 3

Happy Hunting My Friends,

well the rain won't be affecting me sitting in a nice luxury box for the game!!!!

:P

I was pondering u36 before weather consideration, but now the under looks even better.

I agree. Rain will affect PIT's play calling, IMO, encouraging PIT to run most of the game. We know BAL is gonna run. But I dont know if PIT covers 10 without Ben having his way against a banged up BAL secondary. Looking at Parker prop o/u 88.5 yards rushing. I think he breaks 100 tonight (hes avg. 103) but depends on how muddy Heinz Field gets. Any thoughts on that prop CTG?

I like Balt but i would be on the Over Parker prop... here's my thinking... he could break a couple big runs due to the fact that the safeties may have to have more focus than usual on the pass due to the lack of two stellar corners (McAllister and Rolle)... So maybe a couple 20+ runs for parker

ADDED:

NFL Player Props (BAL vs PIT)
Willie Parker - Total Rushing Yards
Over 88½ (-125): 2.5 units to win 2

This is exactly what worries me, as I have been leaning towards the over and Pitt. I think the weather could have a profound effect on both of these original leans and may scare me away entirely. If the rain stops though and the balls aren't slippery at game time, I could be coaxed back into both of those bets.

I'd avoid the over unless you're convinced PIT can score 28 of those 36.5 points. I personally don't see BAL being productive at all this game, and as such, agree heavily with MistaFlav's write-up regarding that aspect of tonight. Not that PIT isn't capable...

So long as it stays under 42, Im content to see the Ben cannon bomb on BAL. No offense to anyone in particular, but I hate everything about MD. Everything.

Already at 10 on my book...thats why I teased.

what book is that ?

in other words the lines not going down anytime soon right ?

Bodog.

I hear shit about them all the time, and the more and more I pay attention, the less and less I like their lines. But I rarely make picks that get moosed by 0.5 to 1.5pts so lineshopping isn't really worth my time. With work and all that other BS that gets in the way of my addiction to NFL gambling, I barely have enough time to make educated picks, let along go ONLINE SHOPPING.

I think Pitt will score the majority and won't be afraid to run up the score if possible, considering how Baltimore handled them last year. I think Baltimore may be able to put some points on the board having an off week to prepare and having a lot of key cogs on offense back. With a healthier offensive line, including Ogden, and McNair back under center I think they could get enough to help cover a small total such as that posted by the oddsmakers.

Good point.. And if you are convinced Pitt can score 28, then Pitt TT over 23 is the preferred bet... Leaning that now if the rain and wind aren't too bad.. Any local Pitt CTGers that can update the conditions as we approach GT would be very appreciated..

from looking at the open of Monday Night Countdown it looks like it's coming down pretty good

Big Ben was out tossing the ball around and it was heavy

By looking at that radar and using my 7th grade science class skills I think it is moving East....so the biggest shit is south and wont hit them, but the solid storms in Ohio are def. going to come east to burg and make an appearance.

Sloppy and shitty...........17-6 Burg

Wind isn't as bad as expected , at least yet..

42 in the first half? Where were those T-Storms I was banking on? Guess you can never bet on the weather...And Parker isn't running for shit!!! This couldn't be going more contrary to what I played. Lookin for a good 2H chase.

BOL all. Hope your picks are progressing better than mine. Lets hope Parker blows up the 2nd half to shave my losses.

No worries amigo. Always next Sunday! And Im still above water with no sharks circling. Good health my friends!
