A Rant....................
There is discussion going on in another posters thread but I prefer to say my piece in my own thread. Feel free to debate but keep it between you and me here as I don't like speaking for others. (Except I will speak for Bloodhound because he is sometimes too old or too drunk to speak for himself.)
The discussion is about posting records in your threads. There is a poster that posts every day and sometimes doesn't put his record in until a few days later. People are questioning him saying that when he wins he posts his record right away and when he loses he waits to post the record. My response to those questioning him, let's see how can I put this delicately? ................ I know. "Go fuck yourself."
The guy starts a thread every day and does post his record. Whether it's right away or every week who cares? He's not saying "I am the best capper in the world!" and then never posting a record to prove it one way or the other. He DOES post the damn YTD record. This seriously pisses me off. This guy is out there like a handfull of others on these sites starting threads and giving picks every day. EVERY FUCKING DAY. Then some jagoffs who never make a pick say he should post his record and be damn quick about it?
Listen up Numbnuts, we post picks on these sites for everyone's benefit. Take them, don't take them, that's up to you. The reason people should post on these sites is so other guys reading the picks say "Now why in the hell does this guy like that side or total?" Then you go look at the game yourself and try to figure it out. If you simply can't figure it out you go back into the guys thread and ask the motherfucker why the hell he liked what he picked. "What did you see to make you pick that". This way you learn something. In fact, everyone learns something. And if you don't think you can learn something from other people then why in the fuck are you even looking at these threads? But to go in and just give a guy shit because he didn't post his record right away is fucking stupid and you are a moron.
Look, I know some posters piss people off. I have my share of folks that think I'm an asshole. I'd even be willing to bet that more hate my ass than any other poster. "I don't get to buy points." "Where did you get THAT line?" Who do you think you are?" and it goes on and on. But if you don't like a guys picks or the way he does his threads then don't fucking read them. Simple. Don't open the damn thing. You should have more worries about gambling and losing your money than you do about whether you hate a guy or want to seem him fail because you think he's arrogant or some shit.
Oh and by the way, I don't give a damn whether a guy posts his record EVER. I want to look at what he picked and try to figure out why. And if I can't figure it out then I will ask him/her. But that's just me.
