My lab was throwing up last night. I gotta thank him when I get home. I didn't realize he was sending me signals on the big dog today:

Houston +235 two units
HOU -1.5 + 375 one unit

I don't get this line at all. Sure its Harden but.....

HOU has won 5 of the last six between these two teams. That alone is enough for me to bet the dog, but look past the starters:

Despite his numbers, the Cubs are 2-2 when Harden starts.
No Soto in the lineup. New catcher.
I actually like the way this Stros lineup looks, even without Lance in there.
Bullpens BIG ONE:

ERA over last three:

HOU 1.5
CHI 6.86

Not a big enough sample? OK

Last 10 ERA

Hou 2.23
Cubs 3.23

I know Houston's not a good road team, but this line is absure. I'm biting. Good luck

GL scdoggy, I thought about it myself but couldnt pull the trigger. I hope it hits for you.

I agree its crazy high and dont trust the Cubbies pen either would see the +1.5 RL as value ..only once have Cubbies scored less then 4 runs athome vs a LH and it was 3 vs Estes. If Harden goes 6 inn , Samardzija ( 1 or 2 inn) , Wood returns and Marmol that some real power arms to deal with and not much LH pop from Houston...thinking Cubs wins 4-3 or 3-2 ...GL

Haha Loul. That dude's face is too much. You should do one of those motivational posters in the genral disc thread about Bartman.

Nut - Just on the math of this alone, I had to take a shot.... I know its a long one but I'm showing the Stros more respect than the oddsmakers. Plus the conspiracy theorist inside of me loves to go the other way on this lone day games....

If the Cubs win Imma break a stick off in that dog's ass when I get home.

stros sitting some studs, Berkman, Tejada, looks like a throwaway.

Yeah, he's in there Tip, but he's not doing shit to this point. I knew Berkman was resting today.....

Ah well, took a shot and missed badly. On to the nightcaps.

How've you been?

been pretty good, sc, thanks. haven't been betting a lot this season, so haven't been posting much either. Damn kids keep exhausting my play money. Was thinking Stros today though with the juicy return, bookie didn't pick up his phone.

damn sc, I never knew about that motivational posters thread. I've only gotten through page 1 so far and I laughed my ass off. Looking forward to the next 4 pages as I've quickly become disinterested in this cubs games.

May have been a blessing in disguise with the no answer from the local. But now that I peek on it, Stros aren't giving up. 3-6 and Harden's at 74 pitches. Anything could happen.

I hear ya with the kids. I just spent a week at the beach with mine, and damn I was exhausted (financially, physically and mentally). I need a vacation with craps tables, jumbotrons, cheap women and expensive booze.....

Yeah, Loul that thread is fucking hilarious.

Stros tried to make things interesting for a while, but the Cubbies got em late....

St Louis +1.5 -160 two units
St Lou +105 one unit
LAD/STL UNDER 8 -120 four units

Home dogs are 4-0 with Welke behind the dish this year.
Welke big zone, that these two pitchers should have their way with.
Dodgers pen is good, and their offense struggles away from home (we'll see if Manny is the answer)

Yanks/Tex OVER 11.5 -105 FIVE units

Wind is blowin in, Pettite's on the hill and the number is still this high. Bullpens.... Another late surge on runs and the Yanks without Rivera and Farnsworth have exactly who in the pen???

which leads me back to the well from last night:

Texas +157 two units

KC +158 two units

Same reasoning as last night. Don't care about Beckett. Boston on the road as a fave is a losing proposition.

Scdoggy, I think youre thinking of T Welke, its actually Bill Welke behind the plate who has a very small strikezone...

:shake:

back to the O's correlated parlays I see.... they been payin great dividends for you last couple weeks so why not:cheers:

good luck on em

Thanks Captwo... Its worth a shot at this price, hopefully the birds bats can stay hot.....
