Hi boys and girls, I'm new in the neighborhood can I play? I have my own bat and ball.
Back home for a couple of weeks. Family situation still in flux. But a neat little side thing happened when Wednesday the city of Montreal had an ice storm. Trees, power lines down, and traffic came to a stop as half of the city lost power from Wednesday at 2 pm until Saturday at 4. There are still sections today where power has not been restored. Over 1 million people without power for at least 3 days. Of course, we were one of them. No groceries, restaurants, or even corner shops open. All we could do for entertainment was watch our food spoil in the fridge. And a good time was had by all. Woo Hoo! Can't wait to go back there for more fun in a couple of weeks. But we are taking bets on what's next: swarm of locusts or raining frogs.
