Thanks for the responses, Pirate, Inzane, Bank, and Cash, I appreciate it. GL

Series: I still see these two teams on paper tied in offense, defense, and pitching. But the thing that is obviously separating the two is managing. Roberts has simply been better than Boone. Truth be told I forgot what a bonehead Boone really is, so Roberts doesn't have to be great to beat him. Roberts has made good moves and been aggressive which is how you win championships. Boone has for the most part sat on his ass in the dugout and sipped coffee. His biggest HR hitter has lost all confidence and is actually a liability at the plate right now.

This is when you, as a manager, must make a change to help him. You put him in the #2 spot in front of Soto and tell him to quit swinging for the fences and just get on base to help the team. If you do that, you might just take the pressure off Judge and turn him around in time to actually compete in this series. But I have all confidence in Boone. He will give his batting lineup, that's the one he always uses, to the umpire before the game and then he will go back to sit in the dugout and sip his coffee.

Did you know that is the definition of insanity? Doing the same failing thing over and over but expecting a different result.

I think you have to bet LA as a dog today. LA ML +120 -50/+60. Just coming back to NY doesn't guarantee anything changes.

Can’t believe lad dogs. Yes please! Never know w Ferris Buehler, gut says he gonna be good but just in case I’m also on
Lad Ff tt ov 1.5, gm tt ov 3.5, and little +210 on over 5.5 :)

Thanks Bank. I like that FF LA over 1 1/2. I don't often bet those but that one does look interesting. GL

I don’t think Schmidt pitch mix of heavy cutter/sinker sets up well. He went 4.2 and gave up 2 runs against royals and cle, 2 offenses let’s be nice and say not quite on lad level! I think it take an act of god for him to get thru this lineup 2x in that band box without at least a bloop and a blast! He does have one the most pitcher friendly umps around but unless he can get ankle low balls and keep burying sinker there I don’t think it matters! I’ll pay to see him not give up 2+!

Good luck Wire.

I am inSane and gonna come back with the Yanks again.

But, I'll take over the 8 and LA tt over 3* as a lil' insurance...

Judge needs to check his gender tonight because Indont think it’s a coincidence he has changed mentally in October. How many times can he swing and miss so badly out of the zone. It’s almost like he’s not seeing the laces and swinging blindly. This team is a reflection of Boone. Lazy baseball and no balls in the big moment.
His HR vs the Red Sox off of Wakefield in the 2003 ALCS is overshadowed by a pitch that was supposed to knuckle and instead delivered on a platter.
It’s the 1st time in my lifetime it’s hard to root for the Yankees when they haven’t performed well in postseason since Boone’s style of baseball arrived.
