Yesterday was bad on the surface going 1 and 5. But, if i look a little deeper i am ok with the results.
Wash was up 4-2 in the 8th before giving up 2 in the bottom half and losing by 1 in extras.
Cameron didnt have a great outing at all and this one was a challenge from jump. Fried didnt have a stellar game...but he didnt need to.
Rox were up 5-2 before giving up 4 in the top 9th to lose by 1 run. They outhit the giants 8 to 7 and palmquist, while only going 4 had a good day and the pen did work till agnos had some trouble.
A's lost by 1 in a low scoring affair. Spence pitched well, but soriano had a day going 7 and getting 12ks. Didnt see that coming. Jacob wilson wasnt in the lineup. Seems like he is having some hamstring tightness. His presence was missed.
If you would have told me sea had 12 hits and lost by 7 i would say you were crazy. But ari had 13 including 3hrs and a 5 run 6th to extend the lead to 9-2 and wrap things up.
Other plays that werent taken because the lines didnt meet the threshold were 3 and 1.
Just the way it goes. Stinks to have a losing day, but its important to look and see if you made the right reads to make sure you are thinking through things properly.
