I didnt say tank or give up on a season, just dont give up futures for this year
But with Ben their variance was much safer, they were anywhere from a 7 win team to an 11 win team lets say depending on luck, fumble recovery, special teams etc.
With Mason rudolph their variance is way more volatile, maybe Mason is great, hes the future star, then 11 wins is still possible, but the floor drops to like 3 or 4 wins if rudolph isnt good.
If they hit the floor, they lose this trade, value of a top 8 pick is way higher than minkah right now. So they aren't going all in, but they are basically pushing in a huge chip, when they dont have a great hand
