Most Valuable Player

Defensive Player of the Year

Most Improved Player

Most Disappointing Player

Rookie of the Year

Sixth Man of the Year

Coach of the Year

Worst Coach of the Year

Most Valuable Player- Kobe Bryant (The key thing here is that he does not have the help on his team that Dirk, Nash, Arenas, and Carmelo do. For him to have this team at 27-15 in the West is remarkable. He's turned into a true leader. Just watch him during timeouts.)

Defensive Player of the Year- Ron Artest (I don't look at stats. I watch games, and he is possibly the best defensive player I've ever seen with my own two eyes.)

Most Improved Player- Andre Iguodala (Could be a superstar very soon. Honorable mention to Marbury. The strides he has made defensively have been unbelievable.)

Most Disappointing Player- Elton Brand (Last season, I thought he was the next Karl Malone. This season, every one of his numbers are down and his team is losing. Honorable mention to LeBron James.)

Rookie of the Year- They all suck. I don't know, I guess Roy or Yag?

Sixth Man of the Year- Ben Gordon

Coach of the Year- Jeff Van Gundy

Worst Coach of the Year- Mike Dunleavy and Eric Musselman in a dead heat.

Most Valuable Player-LBJ

Defensive Player of the Year-Garnett?

Most Improved Player-Monta Ellis

Most Disappointing Player-Francis/Marbury

Rookie of the Year-Morrison?

Sixth Man of the Year-Gordon

Coach of the Year-Sloan

Worst Coach of the Year-Musselman

Most Valuable Playerthis was Melo's till the melee. Now, I would have to be unoriginal and go with Steve.

Defensive Player of the YearNo more Ben by default. Problem is I don't have another choice right now. I would give an old sentimental vote to Alonzo since he basically has started almost all the games and kept that team somewhat competitive defensively

Most Improved PlayerTime and ball control makes Iggy the choice here. JR smith can be argued as well.

Most Disappointing PlayerElton Brand. You can blame the teammates and the Olympics. Fact of the matter is..he was a top 3MVP candidate last year and his game should have risen even further this year

Rookie of the YearMorrison. He has best stats. Lately Randy Foye has made a charge

Sixth Man of the YearI dunno yet..lol. I like Luke Walton a lot off the bench. Subtle things.

Coach of the YearGeorge Karl, Don Nelson, Mike D'Antoni etc...reason...there teams are fun to watch and most likely all 3 will be in playoffs..I love your styles coaches

Worst Coach of the YearMike Dunleavy. The nucleus is there. The superstar is there. The up and comers are there. This team has fallen immensly

Nice thread killa...we here at CTG are THE PEEPS who should vote on this stuff

BTW. I actually have Kobe right there behind Nash. The Suns incredible record makes me take him again. What Bryant has done this year has been awesome.

I gues BG is the 6th man..I just never think of him that way. I try and think more in true 6th man terms.

Yes...Artest is the best on ball defender I have ever seen. Thats pretty high because I grew up watching the previous best on ball defender(Rodman..before he decided rebounding a lot was sexier and concentrated more on that)

Most Valuable Player- Gilbert Arenas

Defensive Player of the Year- Shawn Marion

Most Improved Player- Monte Ellis

Most Disappointing Player- Mike Bibby (playing like crap)

Rookie of the Year- Randy Foye

Sixth Man of the Year- Monte Ellis (shitty team/record will hurt him)

Coach of the Year- D'Antoni (Suns, spelling might be wrong)

Worst Coach of the Year- Eric Musselman

Disapointing Francis ( i know hes been hurt, but come on)

ROY Morrison

6th man Barbosa (he doesnt start, right?)

Best coach Avery Johnson

MVP Abstain too many players that legitimately are absolutely necessary for their team.
Best Defensive Shawn Marion close second Shane
Most inproved No question here MICKEY MOORE
Most disapointing Francis no who expects anything Brand To play as well as he does on that team he is a GOD so no. Since the entire Spurs team is not allowed Tim Duncan

Worst Coach Changing the category to worst GM M Jordan master of doing nothing

Another Most Improved Player is Matt Barnes of the Warriors. He's getting less minutes with the new guys in town and the Warriors getting healthy but he was clutch when they were undermanned and he was getting 30+ minutes a night. Hope Nellie remembers that and let's him play more then he has lately.

3 way tie, same as it is every year... Isaiah Thomas, Terry Stotts, Doc Rivers

wade the mvp? Are u kidding? Whats their record.. they play in the east as well..

Sixth Man of the Year: this isn't even close...Jerry Stackhouse!!!!

Coach of the Year: Avery Johnson, who cares if he has the talent...it takes a great coach to get his team through the 3 in 4s and the 4 in 5s with a record like that...keep in mind they started out the season 2-4

Rookie of the Year: Foye, He's appeared late in games to give his team crucial points...looks like he'll be around for a while

Most Improved Player: Josh Howard, he's established himself as one of the league's elite...this year is deff his coming out party

Worst Coach of the Year: Thomas, normally I couldnt bring up the payroll cause it's not the coach's fault...but in this case it IS the coaches fault...one of the highest payrolls...and fewest wins

Bill we agree on pretty much all of them. I thought kobe got robbed on the mvp last year..

Most Disappointing Player: Lebron James, where the hell has he been?...he's reverted into the man who wont take the last shot...what happened?
