Tkachuk and Hagel went at it again last night. Last game before the Olympics. Those two were the ones who started to fight at the drop of the puck at the 4nations game. 🤘Hope they square off again. Been a ridiculous drought of no Golds for USA Hockey….i took a swing at the Swedes +750

Will be fun!!
 
If this post makes me look unpatriotic so be it but don't be surprised if the US doesn't even medal. I will attack this purely from the standpoint of the Rangers and just say that Guerin and his pizza boy assistant really screwed up putting together this roster. Only a complete and total moron would have JT Miller and Vincent Trocheck on this team over Jason Robertson and Cole Caufield and leaving Adam Fox off the team in favor of Seth Jones was just as dumb.

Fox is now injured and wouldn't be able to play anyway but Guerin is a fool. Now lets discuss the choice of Mike Sullivan as coach. Sullivan hasn't made the playoffs in years and under his "leadership" the Rangers are worse than they've ever been while the Penguins are totally resurrected with Dan Muse coaching the team. In summation Sullivan sucks and shouldn't be coaching the team.

Canada +115 while certainly not being a great number is really the only play and I will be looking to fade Guerin and pizza boy whenever they play anyone decent.

I dont think it's unpatriotic. If you think Canada is going to win, then bet it.

I played Canada -130 to have a better outcome than the US. I don't think a US/Canada is a slam dunk final like most do. Idk. We'll see how it shakes out. Neither will face much in the 3 prelim games.

I was talking hockey in a hockey chat with buddies last night... One of our guys is a huge NYR guy...

He has very similar sentiments. I even chuckled think he could be a long lost cousin of yours...

I didn't come up with this but thought it was funny that the Rangers traded the Breadman (Panarin) for bread crumbs.

It alternates between silence and fire Drury chants. As much as Dolan is in love with him and I mean that literally the empty seats and fire Drury chants are going to force him to fire a guy who I consider to be the worst GM I have ever seen in any sport.
 
I'd be pretty pissed if I was a Devils fan that Hughes will play in the Olympics after missing those last 3 games. You needed those points bad.

Tell people this all the time, hockey is 50x better in person , while the NFL is far better on TV .

..The one good thing about the Sabres being shit for so long is that tickets are still available for $27-45 for almost every game not vs the Habs or Laughs .

Took the kids to a game for $11 a ticket before the break.

I want to root for Finland but I think Sweden is just the better squad this year.

These books offer bets on teams to win a medal. But I haven't seen any offering to not win a medal. For example the US is -300 to win a medal. I'd like to dabble on the no at + money.

That's the issue with so many of these US markets -- they don't offer the "NO" option.

I know Circa is big on giving that option to the bettor.

For example, when USA is up 5-1 on Latvia after the 1P and Tkachuk says they’re going to “play the right way” aka we’re going to keep pouring it on and not take a shift off.

Teams can hang for a period, but after that it’s tough

No but I'll have my Sabres jersey on when they play... Probably wearing Rasmus Sabres jersey when they play as well ...He's not a bad betting option for most Sweden points ..Should see all the ice time with the other top defenders ageing .

Fin team total at this point? Been holding out for something, didn't feel like turning on Peacock

Another thing, Winter Olympics going from speed events like hockey/skiing/luge etc to ice dance simply doesn't work. I don't know how those could be remotely correlated events other than they're all cold
 
And just like that its 3-1 Slovaks. Slavkovsky started right up where he left off at the Olympics. Goal scoring machine.
