I'm reminded of mid June when Scherzer was taking batting practice bunts, took a ball to the face and broke his nose.
The next night he went out for his scheduled start, threw 117 pitches, 7 scoreless innings, struck out 10 Phillies.
Really, really sucks for him. Still a possibility for game 7 if we get there.

With the poor bullpen, I think Max has been overused and i think it might've been evident the last time he pitched. Yea he was able to keep it together, but it seemed like he struggled to get through his innings. Yea part of it could be due to the Astros, but I think Washington and Dave Martinez really overworked him. Scherzer might've have said anything for team, but it may have been unwise.
