The Masters Odds

The Masters Tournament is the biggest golfing tournament of the year. We can’t wait to wager on it for that reason, but also because this promises to be a great tournament for less-favored betting options. Betting favorite Scottie Scheffler has been struggling in March. Second-favored option Rory McIlroy just won last year, and it is statistically so improbable to win the Masters back-to-back. Jon Rahm, who is listed alongside McIlroy at +1100, has no betting value at such a price. I will recommend investing in all three of my top Masters picks: Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young, and Patrick Reed.

Top Ten Odds to Win 2026 Masters Tournament (per BetOnline)

Xander Schauffele +1600
Ludvig Aberg +1600
Matt Fitzpatrick +2500
Tommy Fleetwood +2800
Collin Morikawa +3000
Cameron Young +3000

Matt Fitzpatrick to Win 2026 Masters Tournament (+2500) at BetOnline

Matt Fitzpatrick is easily overlooked because of how poor his performance in last year’s Masters was. But consider the struggles that he was experiencing heading into last year’s tournament, and compare those with his ongoing successes. Last year, he missed the cut in the two tournaments that preceded the Masters. This year, in his last two tournaments, he boasts a second-place finish at the Players Championship and a first-place finish in the Valspar Championship.

To win his last tournament, he worked on his approach play. He is exhibiting better accuracy and better control. One must expect him to carry his improved form into the upcoming Masters. Despite what happened last year, he’s shown that he can succeed at the Masters, where, in 2023, he earned a top-ten finish. He is a much better golfer now than he was in 2023, making him a promising candidate to win and a must-get at +2500.

Cameron Young to Win 2026 Masters Tournament (+3000) at BetOnline

Cameron Young also merits an investment for similar considerations. He proved how clutch he can be in high-pressure situations when he came from behind to triumph with a win at the Players. His win at this tournament illustrates his strong recent form, which encompasses two consecutive top-three finishes – he tied for third place at the Arnold Palmer Invitational before winning the Players. In particular, Young has improved his putting, largely due to his stronger pace control. Hiring his former college teammate to be his caddie has helped with his putting and with his mindset on the golf course in general.

In 2024, Young earned a ninth-place finish at the Masters, showing his ability to thrive at this tournament. Now with a new caddie and drastically better putting, he is a much more solid golfer. Consequently, he is a top contender to win and is someone who you should absolutely invest in at +3000.

Patrick Reed to Win 2026 Masters Tournament (+4000) at BetOnline

As a rather under-the-radar option, Patrick Reed is worth a small investment. He clearly is well-suited for Augusta, as evident in his repeated ability to turn around from less impressive performances and thrive at the Masters. Last year, for example, his first top-five finish of the year came at the Masters, where he finished third. In 2021, he finished 22nd at the Players before finishing eighth in Augusta. His Masters victory in 2018 came amidst an erratic season. As he eyes a return to the PGA Tour, he has steadied his game now, with three top-two finishes and most recently a tenth-place finish on the DP World Tour. What he has shown this year and his consistency in Augusta, where he has earned six top-twelve finishes in his last eight appearances, make it worthwhile to take a flier on him.
