Kyrie staying in Boston?

At a Celtics event now and Kyrie just said he will be signing a contract in Boston next year. I know there has been a lot of chatter about him not staying in Boston, but could be huge for the Celtics next couple years.

I also understand he could just be saying that for the crowd, but figured I'd share.

He’s saying that to make ainge look bad and not himself should he leave. Sure, if Boston throws him the money, which is no sure thing, he will stay, but if they don’t, this is his way of hedging showing he wants to stay but they don’t want him. Plus, when you’re trying to win a title you don’t want that elephant in the room of is he staying or leaving all season

I really don’t think ainge wants to pay him, especially with the emergence of Rozier and you still got Tatum, Brown, etc
