My thought is , unless Mond or Starkel are the second coming of JFF, we end up running-- a lot.
I'm on them at +3.5 vs. UCLA, only because Summy is pretty good at openers(huh?).
I think unders will be on my watchlist .
The middle of the defense should be better/good. Easy to say after losing Myles and Deysheon.
Bruins run like crap, so I expect them to pass. Ags won't have the outside rush, but the ends have played, not like they are complete noobs.
Should be fun.

I haven't seen where Summy has named a starter.
The zoo says it's "ass my dude" (if you don't know where that came from, google)
I've seen the same speculation for Hubes and Mond.
Personally, not as confident as a week ago, but there is the fact that Summy does come through in gm1.
Not sure how the recent events will affect the team.

Having said nothing of note in the above, you have to think the Ags will run with Williams /Ford. Mond the only qb with a threat to run.
I want to play the under something fierce. This isn't Kingsbury's offense.

He's better than the next A&M would get and will likely be gone, hope he doesn't land at AZ when RichRod gets canned after this season. He'd crush in the Pac12.
 
Just curious press, who you rather have there? It's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Sumlin is gone, but I have to think it's a foregone conclusion the next guy will be way gone after about 3 years. What are the expectations in College Station? Finish 3rd in the division should be like winning a title annually I think but maybe that's just me, going to a decent bowl game every couple/three years would be solid while going to some lesser one most other years.

I am constantly amazed at how dumb football coaches are. Whether that is being an armchair QB, I guess I'm guilty like the rest of the sports loving world.
You really can't call it anything else but dumb. They make the same mistakes over and over.
I'm kind of shocked that something like the above was done. It could be someone not associated with the university.
Either way, it's a sad thing. I wish it had just gone in the trash. I'm sure he gets plenty of unhelpful correspondence.
Texas has always been good at putting "For Sale" signs in the coaches yards, especially high school coaches. Maybe everyone does it, don't know.
There are other ways to vent your displeasure. Go to the gun range?

Why would the next guy not be better? How can we say that? He should be giving part of his paycheck to Johnny F Football to this day....that is how he got paid. One win vs Bama......nothing much else.....

Expectations are decently high there....they pump money in the program.
