KLM last season at The Dutch in Spijk, the Netherlands
the winner the ChiCom Ashun Wu [-16]. solo 2nd Chris Wood [-15] with Thomas Detry and Hideto Tanihara tied 3rd [-14]

a number of top players skipping this week to get ready for the the BMW PGA @ Wentworth Golf Club, Surrey, England which is a Rolex series "big bucks" event. I am actually surprised Matt Wallace is playing after being a CUT at the European Masters. my man "WALL-E" really hasn't played that well his last five tourneys

Jamie Donaldson -105 [-2] over Lee Slattery [+2] 4 UP

had a pretty cool "beat the pros" on the par three # 13. was mostly young boys playing BUT they had one 100 year old woman who STILL is playing golf. she didn't hit it very well BUT you got to hand it to her. she didn't look her age :shake:

my german Bernd Rittenhammer a BIG disappointment after the way he played in Hamburg last week with a [+1] first round AND I do NOT know WHAT has happened to "George" Campillo . he just STINKS his last five tourneys after being excellent early season. shoots a [+7] and is probably a CUT this week after tied 33rd @ Hamburg last week and three CUTS before that. he has fallen out of the Top 10 of Race to Dubai

third round going into Sunday, Sergio Garcia [-6] and Callum Shinkwin [-6] tied for the lead [-15] with the Dane Nicolai Hojgaard solo 3rd [-5] for [-13] and James Morrison solo 4th [-3] for [-12]. then three more tied 5th. Englishman Steven Brown [-4], Matthew Southgate [-2] and Matt Wallace who finally came alive with a [-9] for [-11]. "WALL-E" with the lowest round of the tourney. all my "cats & dogs" are pretty much done :(

three players UP and one DOWN in my tourney match plays
Thomas Pieters +130 [
-2] for [-9] over Patrick Reed [-2] for [-5] 4 UP
Romain Langasque even [-2] for [-7] even over Haydn Porteous [+1] for [-3] 4 UP
Jamie Donaldson -105 [-2] for [-6] over Lee Slattery [-1] for [-4] 2 UP
Gavin Green +110 [even] for [-4] over Thomas Detry [-2] for [-5] 1 DOWN

well Sergio Garcia WINS the KLM with a final round [-3] for [-18] with the Dane Nicolai Hojgaard solo 2nd [-4] for [-17], Matt Wallace sole 3rd [-4] for [-15] and James Morrison sole 4th [-2] for [-14] Callum Shinkwin fell to solo 5th with a [+2] for [-13]

went 3-1 on my match plays although Thomas Pieters gave me a scare when he was [+3] on his first nine BUT recovered on the back with four birdies
Thomas Pieters +130 [
-1] for [-10] over Patrick Reed [-4] for [-9] WIN 1 UP
Romain Langasque even [even] for [-7] over Haydn Porteous [+1] for [-2] WIN 5 UP
Jamie Donaldson -105 [-1] for [-7] over Lee Slattery [-1] for [-5] WIN 2 UP
Gavin Green +110 [-1] for [-5] over Thomas Detry [-1] for [-6] lose 1 DOWN

the Rolex Series "big bucks" BMW PGA Championship next week will have about ALL the top Euro Tour players and a number of PGA "top dogs" including Rory McIlroy, Patrick Reed and young "up and comer" Viktor Hovland :)
