Probably should lay -330 for Germans to win the group but laid off for now...seems like a no brainer. And I can't see any way Spain and Portugal aren't 1/2 in that group, huge numbers of course to move on but it's damn near free money.

Germany/France/Spain win this, most likely the faves...but man the firepower France have. I can't see Brazil suddenly glue it together 4 years later in Europe, and Argy have been complete trash. Might try to fade them but it's not the easiest thing to do with the superstars up front.
 
I wouldn't say a great feel, it's no secret backing the CAF nations to succeed isn't a great idea in general but they're kinda stacked...on paper anyway. And that group is just ripe...even better (imo) is Lewy in flux on his club next season. Who the hell should be favored there?

The winner of that match will win the group imo...if draw, I still think both move on but it gets dicey, not sure about GD to win the group...and no doubt the other two teams in there are no slouches either. Might follow along with braves on over as well...the loser of that one is gonna have one mighty uphill climb to advance. Everyone looking forward to Spain/Portugal and rightfully so but this is the match I'm most looking forward to in the first round. Means it will suck...

Is this real?

I think Germany would be good for semis unless there is a bad draw?

Is there any tough teams in their draw?
 
France is talented but mentally weak.

They are clearly the best athletes on the world. But they can be mentally fragile.

I see Germany or Spain winning it all.

Call it a Bayern Real Madrid Barcelona dominance.

Germany team is pretty much Bayern Munich.

Spain has the edge in head to head vs Germany because of negative height differential and fast step pace advantage.
Meaning on any loose ball in tight areas the smaller Spanish players get their quicker by taking 5-8 quick rabbit like steps while the bigger Germans take gazelle like steps which make them arrive second for the ball.

Messi and Salah are great examples of this phenomenon of smaller legs means faster steps and getting to loose balls first.
 
Assume Germans win the group, they likely face Swiss or Serbia in R16, then winner of wide open group H or 2nd from group G in the quarters (likely England but could be Belgium). -110 to get through that I'm perfectly fine with those odds.

Do not think the Saudis score a goal, I have no team total at the moment and expect under .5 to be -140 or so....but I'd play it. Not sure I'm awake in time to do it but it's a play if I can cross the finish line
 
Ha I'm up too late and dealing with texts, at that number not really sure if I'd play it....thinking 1-0 or 2-0 but still not a fan of that number. Maybe if I'm up in the morning I'll feel differently

Hope you hit the Switzerland bet that would mean we keep it close at least.

To be honest I'm not that confident to get a point they may have too much firepower in attack for us. I think we will need to attack from time to time to relieve the pressure or else it will become exhausting to run after the ball leaving us with no energy to counter attack.
