one for tonight:

San Jose ML - 2.00

I'll take the road dog here; 3 game road trip with the jets, wild and blues to cap it off..tough tough roadie for them, expect a decent push here by te sharks...Winnipeg off a big win over the leafs at which they caught the leafs on their tail end of the road trip after being on the road because of World Juniors being held in Toronto, fortunate spot for the jets not buying the kool-aid entirely.
 
Nice win by the Sharks, get's tough for them the next two games....got a few on my radar will post shortly after I check goalies

Regarding buffalo ml, I see value @ +180 with two teams that are not far off from one another. Sabres are playing much more loose than the Devils are currently and i'll take a team with little pressure @ +180.

NYI put up a stinker coming off the break and should have their legs back. Expect a better effort after that 5-1 loss to the Oilers.

Columbus/Dallas both have the ability to score tons but lack any sort of defense. There are enough holes on both sides of the defense and goalies for me.
 
oh and congrats to the Canadian Jrs!! Way to make us proud, was a pretty sick run....never trailed in the tourny and went undefeated....the line below was dirty together, Mad Max has his father's grit and passion but he definitely got his hands from his mother lol... Rangers (Duclaire), Sabres (Reinhart) and Coyotes (Domi) should be really really excited about these 3...not to mention the oilers with Nurse and the Jets with Petan. Overall this team was solid and mimicked the strategies by Stevie Y and the Sr men's olympic team

fully agree, Dallas x2, Over 5 x2 and Hawks x2, bunch of ones and even a half on Sabres as the big dog of the nite

Detroit Red Wings ML - 2.08

I must be crazy backing the leafs, but that road trip was hell on them. Being away from home that long is never good for a team. Carlyle fired, Kessel questioned and ripping back into Feschuk after being questioned if he's hard to coach. Expect a decent response from this team after their character and motivation has been put into question. Think the boys are glad to be home.

In my eyes, Calgary has over achieved and is coming back to Earth - Wings on a B2B but this is good for them as they looked sluggish against the oilers. They should have their legs back tonight. I think Mrazek gives the wings a chance to win every night and defensively the wings will be there.

Should be it for tonight, small lean tot he pitt under tonight, we'll see if I hit it.

tuff nite for me on the two U plays going 2-2 but the single U plays did well...really sorry to see Buffalo doing so badly!!
The main reason to the Flames success of late games has been a stingy defense. They've allowed only 10 goals over that span while conceding 26.4 shots per game. I expect them to keep it tight with Ramo in the net tonight. So Thinking seriously about a one U play on what I consider a very 'surprising, Flames tm Played this one Under 5.5 also

I cant seem to win no matter which way I play Wash or Tor this yr...I'll root for U

the Pens get a big boost today with the expected return of D man Martin. Definitely a tough spot for Boston, as it then has a quick turnaround to face New Jersey on Thursday and both tms struggling Since I'll be watching this one I will have a token amount on my Pens and Over 5

Anaheim is one of the best home teams in the NHL. So why is this line so low for the best team in the West? I know the Rangers have won 10 of 11 games but will get their toughest test in a while when they travel to the west coast. Lundqvist in net. Lundqvist is 0-2-1 in 3 road games against the Ducks and allowed 3.89 in those 3 games. To small of price not to play the Duck imo , Ducks for one and like this Over 5 for two

it's pretty bad when you get no pressure with a 5 minute powerplay should have easily been more than 1 goal in the first period..da well, pick up and move on

what a gross night - Columbus can't get a PP goal with 4 opportunities to get them selves back in the game, Leafs played like the crappy team they have been and decided to show up midway through the second and all of the third, you can't spot any team in this league a 3 goal handicap, some interesting choices by Horachek not to run his "top" lines a little more with the break from now until next week...
