Tough loss in OT for the Heat last night. They controlled that game throughout. For a team in turmoil coming off a tough stretch you have to wonder their mindset right now!

Boston lost the Finals preview on Sunday afternoon and head to Denver today. These are always fun games between the two teams. Sneaky excellent Tuesday in January match.

Jazz back home after a quick 3 game trip in the East. That included a back to back sunshine weekend. The Hawks have looked like trash out West so far. Three double digit losses on the trip.

I took Sactown last night for that very reason. Miami just seems like a team in chaos but they actually looked better than I thought. I got lucky to cash that one. I'm am watching the Heat closely now because I think there will be some opportunities to fade them.

We're getting to the point that these are the types of games Detroit should win.

Focus is key though.

The start of the Portland game was not what we're looking for. With that being said, the fight back and result creates incredible lessons learned for a young team as well.

I can't say enough about the job JB is doing.

I wanted to go UNDER if quick start to the 4th

Anyways, complete opposite happened.

Hornets up 108-101 with 5:39 left and I went to shovel the decks.

Somehow these turds lost 113-120

15 in the 4th

5 in the last 5.5 minutes.

We see this a lot in the NBA...3 quarters a shootout and then both or at least 1 team looks like hot trash in the 4th.

No trade deadline stuff yet but rumors are swirling here that something is in the works for Nurkic and 1-2 second rounders to Charlotte for Nick Richards which I'm 100% on board with. I still think talk of trying to move Beal is stupid and it's much more likely Durant gets moved to GS than anything regarding stars. No clue what we expect in return for him but he's obviously awesome yet the whole back to the basket iso game is so mundane as a fan.
