I don't make lines or power ratings but think it is fun to guess.
I said in the other thread that Jeff Sagarin has BYU anywhere from a 13 to 15 point favorite over Notre Dame.
PR aside, I think that odds makers would have to account for the national branding that ND is, so even if a PR has BYU as a fav, I think they would have to factor the amount of public money that would come in on ND all while knowing the sharps are ready and willing to back BYU (although I don't think anybody is lining up to lay 14 on BYU here are they?). I'd take ND +14.
The Sagarin number could never be released as a real line.

Some of those sheets that MarkMoney maker posts has their power ratings as well, you could go look through those to make lines. Up to last week Pointwise PR would have ND -11. I'd take BYU +11.
You can't make lines with colley's, but he actually has BYU ranked #1 in the country, so that tells you something.

This week's Pointwise power rating shows ND would be -9. I don't know how good their PR is, it's just the only newsletter one I have available to me at the moment.
