Can't argue with fading these bums, but they have nothing to sell, unless they get creative and insist a trading partner for a pitcher take Bourn or Swisher along for the ride. All the good stuff is locked up under club-friendly contracts for several more seasons, doesn't make much sense to trade for the sake of trading. David Murphy, that's about the only regular I see leaving the Tribe in-season via trade.

Carrasco is under control thru 2019 at a nice price. His name (and Bauer's, and Salazar's) have all come up, Jays supposedly wanted Carrasco, but won't be surprised if they don't trade one of these guys ... it's not a Hamels or Cueto situation. Not in the same class right now, might not get a good return, and the contracts are Tribe-friendly, which the Tribe values over winning.

They've been a terrible favorite, terrible at home, and a pretty good road dog, off the top of my head ... might ride out those trends. They look pretty dead in the water, but they've been a tough read.

They're a tough read, Gabe. Winning record on the road, starting pitching good enough to go on a meaningless run. I've never sensed a lot of quit, they just can't hit.

You were right about them selling off, didn't expect them to dump Moss but they got an offer they couldn't refuse. Hearing Carrasco to Jays, or someone, is back in play, but they better get something good if they deal him. Under team control for three more seasons, guy seems to be blossoming. Seems like a guy I'd want to keep.
