I got a tip from someone very familiar with the Spurs team.. His name..

the coyote

Rockets have a brutal matchup with a fully healthy Mavs team then play a well rested Spurs Team the next night. I'm not sure but I think teams struggle when they make that road trip on b2bs. Hopefully the game is one that goes to quintuple overtime.
Of course I could be wrong. The Spurs haven't even been tested yet. Finleys minutes have been minute, the bench is averaging a whopping 50 a game. I dont see anyone being able to guard Duncan, Parker or Ginobli for the Rockets.

Spurs -1 (-110) 3 units

The Coyote :cheers:abcs

My only concern is that the

might be in the same phylum as our buddy..

I will have to do more research to find out if these guys are related.

I don't know what a quintuple is in all honesty, but I like the play. Looking for the Rockets to get a W tonight to sweeten the deal.

The Rockets are loaded with decent point guards and Shane can guard almost anyone. Still on the Spurs. Simply can't give a team that good any real edge and survive.

I don't know.. San Anton hasn't really impressed me this season. I think Houston actually has a chance to go win both. However, Houston has been weak on the end of a b2b in the past

where do you think this line goes? Any chance it moves towards PK if the rockets win tonight? If not, I might as well put some money on this before it moves towards -2, although my shitty ass books don't have the lines up yet. I need to get a greek account...

You think Rafer can guard Tony? I think their legs will be weak come 4th quarter. Just like the jazz vs the lakers last night.
Who is gonna guard duncan? Hayes?

They are 3 - 0.. what more do you want?(They both beat the blazers by 9) A little surprised they've had this many days off.. that being said they should be ready.

The guy sure LOOKS like he knows what he's talking about..

Found a little scouting report on the coyote
  • Named Mascot of the Year by gameops.com in 2006
  • Was signed by the Spurs as a Flea Agent in June of 1983.
  • During the 2003-04 season appeared in 50 games - with 50 starts - averaging 29.9 guffaws and 11.8 chuckles per contest
  • Was named the NBA's MVV (Most Valuable Varmint) for the twelfth time in his career
  • Registered a career-high 1118 hugs vs. the Lakers on 12/17/97
  • The only mascot in the NBA who growls at "The Mailman" every time he is in town
  • Makes over 400 community appearances each year, averaging 19.8 rib-tickles per visit
  • During the 1993-94 season became the first mascot in NBA history to dunk both a basketball and a doughnut in a single game
  • Full name is ENTERTAINUS CARNIVOROUS
  • Single, but is considering Animal Husbandry
  • Graduated from ACME University with hors d'oeuvres
  • Favorite food is Roadrunner under glass, but admits a weakness for Fried San Diego Chicken
  • Recently was cast in the lead role in the movie Lord of the Rings, but eventually lost the part to Elijah Wood after it was discovered that The Coyote had no ring finger
  • Seen talking with the Disney people about "THE COYOTE KING 2 1/2"
  • Would love to have Lassie over "for lunch" someday
  • Favorite musical group is Los Lobos
  • Spends his free time watching the Fox Network
  • Admits living in "Bexar" County scares him.

On a side note, I also picked the Raptors over the Celtics. That being said i will quote a wise man named ETG

"Even a broken clock is right twice a day" :4_12_12:

both the Portland games were a bit deceiving scorewise
-Portland had an outside chance against SA
-Houston built up a comfy lead and coasted. Portland got on a mini run late, but that was when Houston already pretty much sealed it. It seems almost like a trend that Houston let teams back in (ie Lakers), but still get it done at the end.

SA really could have lost to Memphis. albeit on a b2b at Memphis, but in a close game like that, any shot could turn that game into an upset

and SA beat Sacramento..

although SA hasn't been tested, so we can't say what they'll look like when playin forreal

Like it abcs ... that Hawks line is a little weak for the Nets, leads me to believe the Hawks are gonna win SU. It's a great matchup for them too. It's a good matchup so long as Tyronn Lue doesn't play actually. He could not be more overmatched against Kidd.

Yea i was hoping for 6 in the hawks game. Not sure what I am gonna do. Neither team has a center. Vince is injured.

The problem with the hawks is smith thinks hes tim legler and tyronn lue.. is lue

Anthony Johnson will be back, I see them playing Lue sparingly, because he'll be about 10x worse than normal defensively, if possible, with Kidd posting him up. Kidd's banged up also though. I like the Hawks. I'd love them if there was some quote from Smith that he'd stop shooting

im on the tmac is the fuckin man, im not betting houston. but he's one of the best dudes in the nba

Until the postseason starts. Sure he is talented, but he is mediocre on defense. I think he has better vision and = range to kobe on his jumper. But as far as heart, lateral movement, explosiveness, ball handling, he is no where near.
That being said he still doesnt get his max potential each and every game.

Ok andy verajeo said he might settle for 5 million to play this year?

Maybe I am missing something.. I wouldn't pay him over 2 million. The guy is a bum. Even Vlade is embarrassed with how often he flops. I mean Calvin Booth thinks that paying this guy a max contract is ridiculous. You do realize if you over pay this guy, you will have to start him.. and he will be a cornerstone for your franchise with bron for the next 5+ years.

I can't stand Varejao, people on the Hawks board were saying we should pick him up for the one year deal ... no way, the guys is a piece of shit. Nice picture BAR ... wanna add the text "All Ball" under my username ... to go along with my avatar. I think it'd be a nice touch.

Man i really want to pull the trigger on the twolves.. not only do i think they cover 6.5.. i think they win :tiphat:

This might be the last time i ever listen to a coyote!!

Spurs didnt even try in the first half.. i mean they got outrebounded by 20 wtf! Duncan 1 for 9?
