Here is the thing, you are gonna be laying -150 to -200 on a nightly basis doing this. If they somehow win two in a row you are pretty much screwed

I use .470 as determining whether team is bad. I think your instinct is correct. 4th out of 5. They are toast and may get passed by twins.

After their current series with Seattle ends, 4 of their next 6 series will be at home: this season they're 15-4 SU in home game 1's (7-3 SU as a dog; 8-1 SU as a Fav; 5-0 SU their L5). Might pay to not blindly bet against them in 4 particular games out of the 18 that these 6 coming series are comprised of.
