I think the Rangers complete the sweep at home today of the Indians. Brandon Mccarthy after gaining 20 pounds in the off season, and having his delivery tweaked last year by Nolan Ryan its time for him to live up to the Danks trade debacle. Mccarthy had a good spring and is hoping that will spill into his first start.
Carl Pavano goes for the Indians and well he really hasn't done shit in about 4 years. He ended the spring on a positive note vs a weak Padres lineup but before that he had given up 12 runs and 15 hits in 11 innings. He barley seem to touch above 90 mph all spring.
He faces a Rangers lineup that is just mashing the ball right now. They lit up Lee and Carmona. The Rangers have scored 13 runs on 17 hits in 10 innings against the best the Indians have to offer and I expect the same vs Pavano.
Waiting for the prop bet at thegreek to open that has total bases of Kinsler vs Derosa. Don't give a damn what the juice is I'm hitting Kinsler for 3 units.
Angels -122 (5 UNITS)
Love the pitching match up for the home team here with Weaver on the mound. I still believe Anderson and Cahill are being rushed for the A's both barely removed from A ball. Anderson had a decent spring but wasn't missing enough bats for me to feel comfortable about him in the bigs just yet.
Cardinals RL +115 (3 UNITS)
I'm actually here in St. Louis right now for business and the talk of town had been how Carpenter has looked this spring. His spring numbers include a 1.52 ERA through six appearances with just 24 base-runners allowed in 23.2 innings pitched. He struck out 15 to just six walks.
