So, to talk about this game for @Jhoss003 and others...
Texas State season has absolutely spiraled the last 6-7 weeks with so many heartbreaking losses.
I mean, look at this stretch!
The Tuesday night game vs James Madison was just a bloodbath. Otherwise, every game was somewhat winnable. Well, last week the ULL team consistent led by a few scores until a furious rally.
Texas St will move the ball but turnover issues are coming into play lately.
More importantly, this defense is suffering right now. I love the Bobcats offense for the fact they play fast n loose. More opportunities! But, that means they also leave the defense out there for long periods of time and that's not a recipe for success. Especially with a below average defense.
Admittedly, the line on this game is quite surprising. I would have expected 4.5-6.0 in favor of Southern Miss. I know that QB1 was hurt last week but he's playing from what I've seen.
Oh, did I mention Texas State has 6 players suspended for an altercation after last week's game? A total of 13 guys suspended from that game -- one ULL guy for the rest of the year. So, that never helps depth.
I'd expect So Miss to score a lot and should win this pretty easily.
So Miss 41-30 feels right.

Let Me Be Frank With You
Not sure if anyone else has felt this way about Southern Miss throughout years but I’ve always felt shady with this program. Some of the most bizzare outcomes with this team dating back a very long time.

The starter hasn't played at QB after being played after being probably.
My apologies guys. Everything I saw was he was playing.
This irritates me because I know better than to believe injury reports.
Oh well.
I waited for a few days to even discuss this due to the uncertainty.
Is what it is. Hopefully Texas State 33.5 gets us back to the good. You can get that cheaper now BTW

Pretty much a regular
Everything I saw was it was just a regular football bump too. Very surprised Braxton didn't go. That makes me 0-2 on QB calls today.
