We are launching our Fantasy Golf Pool, which was very popular last year and surprisingly to me, more fun that I imagined.
Winners will be for each of the two segments and for overall results. Even if you do poorly in Segment 1, Segment 2 starts with a clean slate and there will be prizes separately for just segment 2 also in addition to Segment 1 and the overall pool. This way the pool will be more enjoyable for even people who struggle early. It is all set forth below.
Also, this year, we will be having up to 4 autopicks per entry, which means if you forget to make a pick in any given week, the computer will make your pick (as described below) up to 4 times.
The Pool officially begins on March 23rd
Here's how it works.
POOL FORMAT
This is a Golf Fantasy pool. You select one golfer each week and get 1 point for every $1 they earn in that tournament. The person with the most points wins. You may only select a golfer once in each segment. There are two segments of 15 and 16 tournaments respectively. Once you use a golfer in a segment, you may not use him again in that segment.

YOUR PICKS
You will make your picks on the officefootballpool.com website under PICKS. You may select any golfer that you haven't picked already.
GOLFERS
The website attempts to show only the golfers that are participating in each tournament. However, it is up to you to know which golfers are actually playing. Health and other issues can force golfers to withdraw from the tournament and the website may not make the updates before you enter your picks.
PICK DEADLINE
The pick deadline for this pool will be shown on the Picksheet. No picks can be entered after the pick deadline.
AUTOPICKS
If someone forgets to make a set of picks by the pick deadline, they will automatically be assigned the 5th highest ranked golfer in the field. If you have already picked the 5th ranked golfer, then you will be assigned the 6th highest ranked golfer (or the 7th, etc. if you have also already picked the 6th).You can only miss a pick deadline and get a set of autopicks 4 times. On the 5th time you miss the deadline you will get a "No Pick" and 0 points for the tournament
STANDINGS
The pool standings are based on the combined money winnings from all the weekly picks. The person whose picks earn the most money is ranked first in the standings. The website updates the actual money winnings several hours after the tournament ends (e.g. Sunday evening). The standings are not final until approved by the pool manager.
PROJECTED STANDINGS
After each round, the website shows the projected standings based on estimates for money winnings if the tournament were to end that day. You can check the standings after each round to see your projected standings.
TIEBREAKER
There is no tiebreaker. If 2 or more people have the same number of points, it is considered a tie.
CONFIRMING PICKS
It is your responsibility to confirm that your own picks are accepted by the website. You should see the Congratulations Screen after submitting your picks and you should receive a pick confirmation email. If you are still unsure if your picks were accepted, you should return to the picksheet, not by using your browser's back button, but by clicking on the My Picks link. If your picks were accepted they will be prefilled on the picksheet.
DISPUTES
If there is ever a discrepancy between what the website shows and what the player says he/she entered, the website will be considered correct. If there is ever a discrepancy between what the website shows and a pick confirmation email, the website will be considered correct.
