Pretty much a regular
previous mia games with marion they looked alright showed signs. with couple of more days to practice i think they put up a fight here with +11. rockets are going to go in that lazy mode soon..tmac wont show up every game its just how it is..hence they never get far.

i don't mind getting 11 with a miami team that is improving every time they step out on the floor with their new addition, D wade is learning slowly but learning nonetheless that he dosen't have to be the offense they do have other weapons on that team.

I think you are right though, in watching a couple games these last couple weeks it looks like the t wolves have picked up their tempo a good bit.
I think I'd want to get a tony parker update before making a wager on the over.
It does look very appealing though, and in the past when these two have matched up the games have flew over.

The most important thing to look at for this Minny total is the Spurs first game after the break. It was an 85-65 win . Has something changed in SA? Will even more emphasis be placed on defense? A more set half court offense? I would assume Parker is OUT & TD went 2 for 12 ( only 15 and 20 pts this yr vs them).
Look at Minnys recent home games pts allowed :
88 ,117 , 105 , 88 , 92 , 83 , 67 , 95.
They scored
104 , 92 , 82 , 86 , 86 , 104 , 83 , 98
So basically Wolves have played some good defense lately and could keep SA to less 90 points today. While Minny could easily be in the mid 80s...
So not sure what makes the OVER look so enticing...SA was only 194 total vs the RUN n GUN pacers a few games back....Spurs have scored 91 or less in 7 of 10 and 85 in 4 of 10. With 93 or less in 8 of 10.
I think the high end for this game just might be 179 points...93-85 based on the spread....which is probably why someone bet it down from 182.5...

I didnt realize it opened @ 182.5... I know Manu/TD play well against the wolves....and these teams when playing @ Minny like to exceed the #, and when playing @ San usually go under the #.
I think a big reason this # is where it is at, and why it got bet down, is because people are noticing that SA played great D @ Charlotte....(Char shot 28%) and T-Parker is suppose to suit up and play in limited minutes tonight.
I really think this game will go over....but after thinking about it over lunch, probably just going to sit this one out..
No prob Marlo. Its just my opinion. My point is simply its not really that suprising a number when you take a step back and look at what has been going on. I really dont have a play on this game yet and would lean towards the under but far from playing it.
I think Minny is somewhat offensively challenged and it shows when they play better defensive reputation teams . You have Al Jeffereson and after that who can give you a reliable output every evening? There are guys that can do it especially Foye when he is fully back. Minny strong suit is its depth at forward and TD has dropped 21 and 15 vs Minny this year and the Wolves could have Ratliff back here. SA should get TP from what you say but again the rust should show.

Spurs have NO on deck...think we may see an 88-83 type game...just my opinion its one of those games that I think will be constantly flipping back and forth from looking like an Under to and Over and finish a few points from the total...either way
Dont let a maybe from me change your mind...think about it and do what you feel comfortable. I would look at alot of Minny boxscores vs the better teams who play defense unlike Pho , GSW and Denver and see what type of scores pop up...

Probably not going to college and playing some good solid D1 ball. Still just turned 22...or college age senior...
Thats why these kids unless incredibly good along with gifted need to stay in school...you cant teach size so unless I win a nat championship as a freshman you should probably spernd 3 years in college...

wolves got beat down at sa twice this year by margins of 17 and 15. al jeff owns timmy d. so if big al can get any kind of help i think sota can compete here with the motivation to play better against san an aiding their efforts tonight.
