I believe that at least one series will end today.
Took both dogs ATS and ML + Under in both games.

I may be the small minority here, but I feel like Washington gets it done and covers tonight as well. If it wasn't for a few meltdowns in this series, Washington would have won in 5 games and we would be talking about the Eastern Conference finals now

like also the unders in elimiation games, but don't you think it's smarter when you like an under to bet 1/2 unit under 1st half and 1/2 unit for whole game, cause if game goes to OT you are very likely to lose especially with a 180 pts total, whereas yo have a chance to be even if 1st half under and game over due To OT

A the opposite if you like the over, better take Over on full game
Playsoffs, games are usually close, remember OT's happening in OKC/MEM series.

BOL, just my 2 cents

First of all, both series so far didn't have even one OT and while it could be, I do feel that both Oklahoma and Indiana play much better defense in the second half.

Usually first quarter between LAC and Oklahoma is a shooting fest and then they cool down.

You probably right with your way of thinking though.

Currently, underdogs own a 12-8 ATS record in the conference semifinals, improving to 43-26-1 ATS in the playoffs.

The question is what's more likely. For the numbers to correct themselves or to see it as a pattern that we should bet by...

Every number can mean two different things...

all those stats are pointless, the lines are pretty static for every game of the series... they really dont mean anything

If you believe in those type of things, gotta think the league would give the clips a few extra calls

what does the league have to do with linemakers?

I'm not sure his comment had anything to do with the linesmakers, or even the lines. I think he just meant that if you believe in the NBA fixing games and trying to get the result the league wants (what he meant by "those type of things"), that you can probably expect the Clippers to get the calls tonight. I may very well be wrong, but that's how I read it.

what im saying is why does this have anything to do with the notion that there is game fixing going on?

Why does his comment have anything to do with it? If the NBA wants the Clips to advance, or at least see a Game 7, they will get all the calls tonight. We've all seen it hundreds of times before, it's not exactly a secret.

Or were you asking what his comment has to do with this thread? I'm not sure his comment had anything to do with the previous posts, but this is a discussion thread so he probably thought he'd throw his thoughts in here.

I meant both calls to make up for the controversial calls screwing the clippers at the end of game 5 and to extend the only entertaining series of this round. Making me lean Clips

Kinda what I thought you meant.

I know the Clips and Doc thought the call at the end of the game screwed them, but it was the right call and they could have just as easily called a foul if the hand wasn't considered part of the ball (which it is, and why it was the right call). It's already been discussed on here, but Doc was looking for a scapegoat last game other than himself or his PG....they are the real reasons that game was lost.

oh agreed. Altho we've seen it multiples times in the past, whether for good reason or not, if you make noise, the nba hears it and its shown the next game. Wouldn't be surprised to see CP get a couple more calls tn

Agree 100%. Like I said, it's not really a secret how the NBA operates, and it doesn't seem to have changed since Heir Stern left his post. Who are the refs for the game tonight? If one of the 'fixers' like Joey Crawford is in there, you know for sure the Clip show will be getting the calls and winning tonight.

Laying points in either of the 2 series playing tonight has been a losing proposition.

As shown above, the dog is 9-1 ATS in both series combined.

Off the top of my head, the road team off a loss of 13 or more at home playing the next game on the road in the playoffs is something like 1-11 SU last 12.

Like the Wizards tonight. Now just a matter of whether I want to play ML in parlay with Clippers or play it straight. 2 hours to decide.

Everybody will look back on this night and say the G6 Clippers was the easiest money I ever made in my life and I wish that I bet everything I owned on this game. lol (no sarc)

Ballsy prediction. But I agree that LAC should win. Think NBA wants to see this go 7. Refs will make sure LAC gets EVERY call tonight after the debacle last game.

Im not trying to be a blowhard. Just strikes me that way. Tangible, intangible, home, down 3-2, off heartbreaker and drama, Paul redemption, NBA, NBA, NBA. OK city is a majority backed road dog. We need this to be a 7 gamer. So it was written.

my local book doesnt have a cp3 point prop.... just pts + assists set at 32.5 over -135 which is riiiiidiculous, no thanks

went UNDER 181 in washington

Not really any insider info or anything like that. Mainly basing my pick on Indy and their fraudulent image. I follow DC sports closely and tonight's game has a special feel to it around town. Fade or whatever but it's just my take

Thanks, Blue. That's what I meant by "insider" -- often, it's good to get a local's perspective of the "feel" of the game. Personally, I feel WASH avenges that horrid performance in their last meeting in WASH. I don't put a lot of stock in the blowout last game...it was weird, simply put. But I do think WASH regained confidence after blowing the huge lead at home in game 4.

Indy though is a totally anomalous team, so it's holding me back from making this a "big" play. I'm still debating the spread vs. a ML par with the Clips.

Haven't tracked this dude long term, but his record is legit this year.

I'm putting 17-7 ATS record in #NBA playoffs on line with Pacers +4.5 vs. Wizards...looking for them to close out or at least keep close GLA

I like the ML in the Clippers game. One of the fav will win and cover tonight, just hope we are on the right side

Dude is a wannabe sharp that works for ESPN Insider who always backs the dogs no matter what be it NFL or NBA. You'll rarely catch this cat on a favorite and with the NBA being 'all dog' right now = that's why he's having success.

Stevens on the Clips -4, btw.

Indy v Wiz series is unprecedented given the results so presents no real rhyme or reason who to bet. It is roulette. Period.
