Kingston didn't announce a starter after Saturday's game but said it's likely to be either righty freshman Logan Chapman or righty freshman Carmen Mlodzinksi. Chapman-- albeit inconsistent--has been a weekend starter for the Cocks and is coming off an ugly outing against Arky in the SECT, and Mlodzinski spun it well in the opener of the SECT vs Mizzou. Regardless, everyone in the USC pen should be available after getting the day off yesterday and with Morris working deep into the game vs ECU Saturday. UNCW has the best pen in this region, but they are absolutely taxed. Wouldn't shock me to see the ace Royalty back on two days rest after getting run out early against ECU Fri night (71 pitches), but Scalf said they'd be Johnny Wholestaffin' it.

As an auburn fan, I'm certainly pulling for FAU today. Haven't found pitching yet for GA/Duke, but both of their bats have been hot and 10 certainly seems reachable. Go gamecocks (clover)

I've been eyeing that total as well and am joining you there. I've projected the freshman righty Emerson Hancock to start by default for the Dawgs and Duke will probably go Johnny Wholestaff like UNCW as their three shitty weekend guys have all started now. The strength of the pitching staff is definitely the bullpen, and guys like Jarvis and DeCaster appear to be burned. Love Duke's approach at the plate and their scrappy vets; Jeff Conine's son sure does look the part. Doubt the UGA 3B Schunk plays today as that was one nasty looking broken nose. Good luck bud

So miss st advances to the super regional after losing their first game 20-10. Wow. And another wow is the 17.5 total they've posted for the tenn Tech rematch this evening. Going to make you earn that one. The Stetson/UNC super is a great matchup. Stetson can play ball and were 30-1 to win a ring at the beginning and are 4th in RPI. Maybe they'll be this years Coastal Carolina. Been some great action as always this time of year

Take nothing away from Alan Tongue's Beavers.....that's a squad, child molester be damned.

Dude on SEC network just said he could see Mize pitching for the MLB team LATER this year!! They said he calls his own games( that is pretty strong) or HAS...

I think Mize will be successful at the next level but who knows. It wouldn't be the first time a big dog doesn't pan out. I do know that Florida and Oregon St were the two favs at the beginning of the year (can't remember the odds) but I'd go with Florida fwiw. Personally I'm rooting for Tenn Tech and Stetson
