Looks like another game where the number is off. Houston should be favored here by 3. Instead we have Denver laying 2.5. ???
If your paying attention here to the last three games these two teams played, then there is only one conclusion here tonight.
If this was a first round playoff game, there is no way that Denver would be favored. In just about all first round games, the home teams are favored, and most of the time its justified. For a road team to be favored in a playoff game they must have a defense that is far superior to the home opponent.
This game appears to be a close game ONLY if you see that they have indentical 6-7 records. That where it ends. Here is where they separate. The last three teams that Houston played, are all in a playoff hunt. The last three teams that Denver played, are fighting for an early draft choice!
Even with Rosenfels playing for Houston this game looks like a home win for the Texans. Rosenfels has played very well lately and had a good game against a tough Tampa Bay defense and had NO int's.
Denver has been playing all season with a defense that is missing a few pieces and has basically played the season defensively with a rebuilding job. That will be exposed here tonight.
This is a very good dog at home with Houston and the AFC west is just a shadow of what it was just a year ago.
I Like them to win by more than 10.
