Buffalo had enough chances to win, but they beat themselves.

Thursday Sept 14th
Minnesota +7 over Philly. 5 units
Vikes ML +285. 2 units
Strange factors here show that last season the Eagles struggled with the NFC North
ALTHOUGH THEY WENT 4-0.
This is a revenge game for Minny. They were embarrassed last year.
They beat @detroit 38-35. but Detroit was not good - yet,
Beat Minny 27-7 in Philly. Vikes had 3 to's
Beat GB 40-33 in Philly
Beat @ Chicago 25-20 . but Philly hd 3 TO's
3 of the 4 games were by 7 or less..
Vikes held Tampa to 16 1st downs, 73 yds rushing and 169passing, Vikes had 3 turnovers.
Philly beat NE but was badly out yarded.
The Eagles only had 17 1st downs, 97 yds rushing and 154 yds passing which was less than what Tampa had in Minnesota.
NE out yarded Philly and lost
Minnesota out yarded Tampa and lost.
The Eagles allowed an average of 24pts/gm vs that division. Five (5) more pts/gm avg allowed - than their season averages overall.

Sunday
Atlanta +2 over Packers.. 5 units
Fading the Packers as they were held to 15 1st downs and 92yds rushing in Chi-Town.
Falcons are much improved on paper with many new players and free agent signings.
Ridder has not shown any impressive play in his first game of the season , but he also didnt do anything to hold back his team.
The Dirty Birds defense was outstanding against Carolina, as they picked off Young and held him to only 127 yds passing. His QB rating for the game was a terrible 48.8.
Packer QB Love will have a tough time in the Dome against that defense.

Chicago +2.5 over Tampa. 5 units
Bears outplayed Green Bay and lost.
Tampa was outplayed by Vikings and won.

Detroit ML -210 over Seattle. 2 units
2 starting Offensive guards are out for Hawks.

Cincy -3 over Ravens. 10 units.
Nothing about Balt impresses me. Lamar struggled against a weak Houston team.
Bengals have no where to go but up after Burrows career worst game.

KC -3.5 over Jags, 5 units
KC ML-170. 5 units
Lions are a better team right now than the Jags.
KC wont lose back-to-back games and they dont coast in road games.
Likely wont see a spread this low the rest of the year for Cheifs.

Tennessee +2.5 over Chargers. 5 units
Wrong team favored .
Tannehill had 3 int's in the Dome last week vs Saints.
last three between theses two were 3 points or less.
Titans play solid defense at home.
Chargers allowed 25pts/game avg in last 4 road games.

More Monday

Browns ML -130 (Caesars) over Pitt.........15 Units
Browns have radically improved their defense. The offense still remains to be seen with Watson , but the run game is still among the best in the NFL.
Cleveland has lost nearly every game vs Pitt in the last 19 times etc.
They're bringing what may end up being the very best defense in the league.
This game is their whole season tonight from the standpoint of confidence.
They could blow Pitt out - but knowing the way they coach and call plays they will run the ball if - and when leading.

Im suspect of the Pitt passing game. In week one I thought they would have improved that situation and would come out better than last year.
That didn't happen and facing this Clevalnd defense it wont get any better. Just ask Joe Burrow who was held to 82 yards passing in week 1.
Being a road favorite in Pittsburgh is what will draw action on the Steelers IMO.
Especially because the Steelers have an outstanding record on Monday night.
The public will have a hard time tailing Cleveland there.
There is no reason to lay points with ML's this low.


Saints ML -130 over Panthers 10 units
Complete turnaround now with getting Carr at QB. He's the kind of QB who can win on the road.

The Saints defense held Tennese to 15 points last week and dont see much improvemnt with rookie QB Young starting for Panthers.

Yes -back door. But only because of the 4 turnovers.

They gave PHI 17 free points between TO's and the blown offensive WR fumble through the end zone which would have given Minny the lead.
I would have easily won the ML bet without the TO's/.
We cant cap TO's into a prediction.
To me the Viking guys wearing gloves in 67degree weather on a clear dry night - is always the cause for the turnovers and 5 dropped passes as well - three (3) of which - would have been for big gains and kept drives going for scores.
I was fortunate that Minny never gave up.
They will be a solid dog team IMO - all season with the improved offense from drafting Addison from USC and paring up with Jefferson who may end up as the best WR in the NFC.
