Pretty much a regular
Saturday.
At this time of the year if you're not playing great defense you're not going anywhere.
Vikings +3.5 (-130) over Bengals. 3 units
Not betting against the 7th nest defense in the league as a dog - although Cincy has played well and won vs Poor defensive teams, Jags and Colts.
Vikes had Denver beat but lost on 3 turnovers in Denver. The Bronco defense is far better than the Bengals and I expect that Minny will thrive today even with a backup QB.
Steelers +1.5 over Colts. 3 units
Terrible game with two teams going nowhere.
Only because Colts are so bad on defense is why Im taking Pitt here. Looking for sacks and pressure by the Steeler defense to pull out another low scoring win.
Denver+5 over Lions. 5 units
Denever ML +190. 2 units
A year ago Detroit was on a great run and killing opponents with their defense by allowing an average of only 16 pts per game in the 6 wins in the last part of the season.
They now have lost all of the defensive play that did that - and when the Defensive coach left for Cleveland at the end of the season, it took a while, but is glaring now how much Detroit has fallen on defense.
lions starter QB Goff has also stumbled and if youre not playing great defense, then the offense starts to feel pressure and becomes less productive.
Today they face a solid and improving Denver team thats in position to possibly get into the playoffs.
Denver is the better team right now should be favored - but we'll take the points!

Ravens d seems to have huge variance looking like complete junk vs browns and rams and good otherwise
