The ML is low for one main reason. Bassitt has the worst road record with a 5.66 era. He was terrible as he had a horrible PIP. > At one point it was 35 vs Boston. 20 in another road start. Obviously the line is set to reflect it.
But in his last 4 starts, 2 away- his PIP has been excellent which will produce wins. Especially against an opponent with a team era of over 5.00.

Tiger team era has balooned in last 3 weeks while also in a huge slump hitting. Tonight rhey are facing a D'Back team that already cashed out. They dumped Naylor.
CUBS -111. 7 units
Boyd has been outstanding all year (.CLE is sorry and stupid for not signing him again). He beats winners! He has one loss in his last 10 starts allowing 2 runs while the Cubs were shut out. He hasnt allowed over 2 runs in any of those ten(10) games.
He allowed over 3 runs just once to the Reds back in May, giving up 4 - but he was out of the game in the 4th. He averages over 6 inning/gm.

I belive that Blalock is way better than his era. In fact CLE still isnt scoring much even though they have averaged 5 runs/gm last 12.
Cecconi is a good starter with potential to be real good, but the season is over for CLE as Clase' was busted for gambling today and is now suspended.
