Power house #8 Ranked FSU rolling along with record setting defensive numbers so far. Holding 11th Ranked Alabama to 17 points was no mistake.
Lots of the "Public Perception" (77%) is on Cavs because service plays are on Virginia, giving it out as a big play.
We have two negative teams a year ago, which are now both positive in scoring.
FSU has a revenge game next week with Miami, Fl. and could be looking ahead?
Cavs are running a new QB (Chandler Morris). now and he was beat by NC State.
His QB rating against low grade opponets is great, but suffers well-below against winners.
NC State is 3-1 but also has not faced any ranked teams.
FSU QB Costellantos QB rating against Bama was outstading at 155.5. His opponent (Simpson), on Bama was held down to a QB Rate of only 118.0 by the FSU defense..
While in Simpsons other two games vs weak teams like Wisconsin and Monroe, he was way over @ 239. and 269.
FSU also held the Bama run game down to only 87 yds. In College, thats like being shut out.
The same is true with Morris for Virginia.
His QB rating vs NC STATE was only 123. Worse yet, his yds per pass were only 5.0? Extremely low. Better QB's are at 9.0 or more.
Morris does run well against 3 losers at 9.4/carry - but when he played NC State he ran for 58 yds.
NC state rolled in the second half and put up 21 points in the 3rd qtr and helped seal the win.
If we're banking on the QB's to predict a cover, Its got to be FSU because they held all opponets to a low passer rating of only 108.3. Virginia was at 133.2.
Virginia also has played three home games. All against soft teams. - Stanford, William and Mary and Coastal Carolina/
I think FSU stopping in town - is a little different level of competition.
Oh - and this is the first team that was ranked against Virginia.
Not thinking Alabama is any super-team - but if Virginia isnt any better than Bama, FSU should win it ATS.

The defensive advantage with a competitive team for each, is FSU by +18 points allowed on defense. FSU allowed 17. Virg allowed 35.
FSU was a 13 pt dog vs Bama aaand won SU 31-17.
Virginia was 3 pt dog to NC State and Lost 35-31.
Question is... could NC state or Virginia beat Bama?
