"This is my thin-sliced (Gladwell) card for the week. I’m just responding to numbers instantaneously as soon as I see them. Godspeed."

I wasn't trolling. I honestly don't think he's a good capper based off last few years. But if you guys say he is I will retract my statement

You were another name here before? Honestly just asking no harm.

I think you’ve seen enough to know you were out of bounds playboy.

I mean no malice and Cringe-some K doesn’t need me to defend him but that’s the homie. And I’d defend him in just being a real one and a good dude. But coming after his ability on the sports’ market, especially in CFB.....well, you got the idea.

respect brother

There’s last years results. Id say he had a decent go at it .

Dude probably lost his ass tailing his picks because the lines moved so much........that’s why he all salty.....

Let's not kill @Gsmith too bad here, guys. Let's not forget that CK bets openers that aren't available to 99% of people. He's working with a group monitoring numbers 24/7...that being said, he's as solid a CFB guy as there is, but lot of peeps make the argument dudes betting openers are real with their records....I'm not one of those, but theres that line of thinking. Is what it is, boys.

I’ve never seen someone crush openers like CK. That in itself should show how good of a handicapper he is, not to mention his record over the years. Don’t know if he’s part of a group or what, but he’s the reason why I joined ctg in the first place!

i think him along with many other long time ctg’ers deserve at least some credit for how solid a ncaa capper I think of myself as! Lol. I remember 10-12 years ago coming here and quietly reading lot of college stuff from off season recruiting and spring ball games to discussing weekly plays. Absolutely helped me become better. No interest reading Twitter or any other content as I’m way to self confident now but will always appreciate everyone who took the time to share their thoughts and whatnot which why I try to do the same. Wish him all the best!

Alotta guys hit openers. Beating the close. It’s hard work. I don’t wanna fucking do it.

he used to respond to people asking if they would play it at available/current line.

ive just never seen anyone call that dude trash. Was weird

Let me clarify...meant to say I think guys who hit openers ARE real with their records. As long as there's proof of receipts, it's all good...and CK definitely passes that test, FYI. It's a lot of work to hit those openers and get that much value. Give the man credit.

The thing with a guy like CK...

Is to learn from him ..

Also, when he does post his totals ... You can kind of wait and find value later in the week perhaps...

He has an incredible prop run last year in Bowls ... I think he posts those on the twids still. I'm not positive.

He does great write-ups on there as well(haven't seen them in a few weeks but I've been busy).

Obviously he owns (co owns) the Devy site for anyone into fantasy at a college level.

Very humble guy, and one of the gentleman of the gambling community.

Back to the top, take that he posts (on whatever medium it is) and learn from it. I apply this to many posters over the years.

He mentioned on Twitter a few weeks ago that he was taking a break. Obviously this season has been a killer to guys who bet openers because of the volatility of covid, but he also mentioned the he, like a lot of others I know, just haven't had their hearts in it this season. I think the start and stop nature of sports this year has a lot to do with that

be a terrible year for trying to jump on openers. Gotta figure be left holding the bag w lot of bad numbers opposed to normal where he usually getting way better of things!! I never have gotten to point of playing openers right when they come out (in football) but I do like to grab games when I do see numbers I like and have totally gotten away from that. Just not worth it this year even tho it has forced me to pass on some winners.

Openers have been hit or miss for me this year but overall it hasn’t been as bad as I would have thought it would have been given all the uncertainty week in and week out. I have been playing openers since the beginning and CK and I used to rub each other about some of the lines we each got years ago so while I agree this year has been tough, opener players like me tend to focus more on the lines we missed on rather than the ones we nailed, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this year shook out like most others (with the exception of all the cancellations) if I actually went back and reviewed all the data (I won’t).

right on. Glad it didn’t effect you poorly. I was always big on ncaa hoops and mlb openers but never worried bout with ncaa fb for one reason or another. Most likely cause until the last few seasons I never had the time to invest so much work into the ncaa fb!

Think it only been 3 years now since I stopped working every Saturday and got back into taking ncaa fb seriously so it quickly became my favorite sport to cap and follow/watch again!!! Had a 5 year stretch where I dabbled, mostly I would stay up Friday nights and read a lot of guys here and another place then just pick and choose games to tail, as we got deeper into the season I would start forming my own opinions.

Luckily there never been a shortage of stand up guys sharing their opinions so I did pretty well playing that way! I enjoy capping them myself and discussing them but nice there were alternatives when I didn’t have the time to invest!!! That why it baffles me ppl actually pay touts for plays!! All it takes a little research and you can find a bunch of guys sharing their thoughts and plays who every bit as talented cappers as those crooks spewing false promises in order to con folks out their money!!
