Harang has been brutal this spring until his last start. I think he no hit the Pirates through 5 but gave up runs left and right in his starts before that. Who knows what you're going to get from that guy.

Great. He cost me more money then almost every other pitcher last year..and the one tiem i tried fading him at the end he pitched a gem vs halladay lol.
It seems like that fucker is behind the count almost every at bat and it kills him.
Was hoping he was going to get healthy and be more consistent this year, and leave his gas can behind. but maybe he alraedy hit his peak in 07 and on his way down. injuries killin him
Not going to be getting involved if he pulls that jekyl/hyde shit again. You never know what harang was gonna show up, or if he was going to even go more then 5 innings.
Need to dig it up but if i remember correctly he's on the "april fade list" too.

fuck him though. at least you learned early on. id have to look at my records, but i know of the times i backed him last year he won once for me... just gotta see how many L's.
i probably went about 1-7 backing him, adn the one time i faded, he pitches a gem, and beat me there too.
2 years ago though, he was a cash cow... but its clear injuries are starting to get the best of him. fuck that inconsistent gas can, lets just stay away for a bit.

BTW, this is why I laugh when people say "how can you bet spring training, its a coin flip." I am not guaranteeing these plays or anything, they could very well lose but tonight we get Halladay -118 going probably 6-7 innings vs Virgil Vasquez and the Pirates and we get Jake Peavy at plus money vs Trevor Cahill
If only everyone could see the value in spring training instead of just naturally shrugging it off.
cahill is an impressive rookie who has given up 1 run in 16 innings this preseason; he is fighting for a job now that oakland pitching staff is hurt with injuries.. at times in preseason pitchers tinker with their 3rd or 4th pitches. Dont think +100 with peavy is an awful line but i see you're point. I am stalking lineups for toronto and pirates. Havent been posting much due to being away but preseason has been money. I understand your point as well but Peavy at plus money vs almost anybody other than the big guns is always a play. He could get lit up tonight but there's too much value there to pass up. I see Halladay went 7 strong tonight and I got him at -118 vs a shit team with a shit pitcher. There isnt better value anywhere than preseason baseball and I know you know this because of well your doing. Keep up the good work.
