Friday's NBA Plays...

The Truth Is Out There
5-4-0 (+2.13)

Was on an 0-4 slide in the NBA so took an extended break.

Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers

The play...

Nuggets +4.5 (2.10 to win 2)

:tiphat:

Nuggz have the backcourt advantage in this one. Lawson will abuse Morris and Iggy can contain Kobe. Denver off a 'bedshit' game they should have won if not for a dodgy clock, bit of a redemption spot as well as a playoff revenge spot (overrated angle IMO, but worth mentioning). Relatively low line considering Denver is on a B2B and the Lakers are off an inept offensive display.

Lakers 5-11-1 ATS on Friday since last season. Nuggets 10-4 ATS in the same scenario. Lakers also pretty poor ATS of an 'upset' loss when favored last few years (14-28 ATS last 3 seasons). Nuggets 7-0 ATS last 7 on 0 days rest. Deeper, more cohesive team catching points so have to bite...

No value here. Nuggets with no defense at all. Got it down to 6, then let LA go on a 8-0 run to end the 2nd quarter. Pretty obvious they don't want to be there tonight. Thought they'd come out with a chip on their shoulder. Got it very wrong...

Yep. Lawson the reason the deficit is double digits at the half. Dude was responsible for 6 of the final 8 Laker 1st half points with his shitty play...

Both teams very different teams this season than last season.
Lakers for obvious reasons. Denver are a mistery to me. On paper the same team - Iggy for Afllalo wasn't the move that was supposed to change that much (surely not for the worst) - but something feels very different.
Any thoughts why?

I have one guess - Denver been many fans "dark horse" to win the title or at least to go deep in the post season for the last two seasons. Maybe they believed it as well and start to realize that in their current roster, they are a first round team - nothing more.
They saw Memphis and Clippers come up in the same time and surpass them.
Right now, at least 5 Western teams are simply a level (or two) above them and that is something that can crush a young team.
