Milwaukee is an absolute mess right now offensively. They have scored a total of 14 runs in their last 8 games, including being shut out 3 times (3-2-0-0-2-5-0-2). Now they trade away Gomez, and there is a good chance their hottest hitter, Parra, who has a 14 game hitting streak, could also be dealt before Friday's game. There is not a lot of punch left in that lineup. Cubs need to win games like this if they are going to contend for a playoff spot. The line is basically even right now, but I expect it to go up overnight.

I agree, Milw is a mess. Lets hope Hammel and the Cubs can keep things going with a few more wins. Jungmann is due for a bad game, wouldn't you say?

Nice hitting conditions to start the game with a nice breeze blowing out the 1st few innings, but tapering off as the game goes on. Both starters tend to give up the long ball, so looking for maybe a couple of cheap runs early, so going a little heavier on the 1st 5 over. If that hits, the over for the game has a good shot too.
