Classic fight with IBF light welterweight on the line..
Both very good but different fighters. Really looking forward to this one. I will say this-- Ricky Hatton is the king of this weight class (140) and would kill both these guys but this is for a title and both fighters should be highly inspired..
Play:
Ngoudjo ML -145, 4 units..
Skill fighter (Ngoudjo) vs. Puncher (Urango) and really on paper it should be a pick em..But this is boxing and this is a pretty easy read IMHO.
Point #1---Fight is in Sammy Meatball territory. Canada, specifically Montreal.
Point #2-- Ngoudjo is a local boy---based in Montreal. Urango is not.
Point #3--- When is the last time you have seen a candian based fighter lose at home by a close decision? I can't recall one event.
Urango is a puncher and IMO that is his only chance to win this fight. If this goes to the cards, Ngoudjo is simply too skilled and with the home cooking I would be shocked if he loses a decision.. Urango is definately capable as a puncher but I'll take my chances with the historically corrupt (and I use that term fondly) Canadian judges..
Neutral site and I would actually lean Urango. Far from neutral here.
I'll add some more below..
Not sure if anyone is around or even cares... I have more thoughts if anyone wants to engage me in a discussion..
