Played Houston back at 5. A bit worried that Pinny is holding at 5.5 at -10c juice and no other book is willing to go to 6. Smells fishy and I don't like it. Still think they roll.

76ers ML worth a look I suppose while I think the Pistons cover but lose SU.

Also probably worth looking at ALL unders after Thursday night.

how ridiculous is the NBA?

through the first 5 days/16 games only 1 home team, as you'd expect, totals less than 90 pts (in a loss)

then on the 6th day all 3 home teams total less than 90 pts, but 2 win SU while at it:36_11_6:

i'm starting to think 5.5 is a LOT in the Houston game, especially with the fact that i'm expecting a really low-scoring, grind-it-out type game

...like PHI at +3.5, but i'm gonna need some more points if i'm going to play it

I think last game was really lucky for Portland to pull that W. Yao was in foul trouble all game and that threw the rhythm off. Again, loses lead to adjustments. Houston blew Portland out in game 1 and Portland adjusted well for game 2 to gain the W. I believe Houston will adjust differently off a L and at home. I think they roll here, but the line is very fishy. I am getting -6 with even money on my book so that is very weird.

I posted in my thread that if the home dogs don't win SU, they won't cover the spread. I might be over-exaggerating it, but watching game 1 and 2 of the Cleveland/Detroit series, there can only be 2 results. Either Cleveland wins this by at least 10 or Detroit wins this SU. I find it difficult to believe Detroit will trail by small margins all game.

Won't be surprised if Orlando covers this, even though I have Philly ML. I hated how Vegas opened Orlando as such big faves, which is hard to cover and they failed to cover both games! It's probably time for Orlando to cover ATS for the first time, but I like taking the home dogs for game 3s.

it makes sense, and i avoided my normal auto-Utah play in game 3 because of that crowd, but i still think if Phil Jackson used his brain in the 3q they would have won that game.

It's disgusting to me to see Bynum foul out in the 3rd and then he HAD to play Gasol for the entire 4th.

...with that said it's over and done with, but I think Philly wins this series and I guess i'm going to take the points. I'm very worried that they may not cover this one, though, unless they win SU.

Food for thought:

Home teams down 2-0 in Game 3 are 9-3-1 ATS and 10-3 SU since the start of last season's playoffs, which includes Utah's two-point win over the Lakers last night.

but I still don't think the Cavs lose here :/

I'm lovin' the "Pissed Ons" tonight. I jumped on them at +4. (shoulda waited) But, don't be surprised if they win outright. Yeah, I know they've had a rough year. But look at the Lakers/Jazz last night. I call it the "Third game scenerio".

Good Luck to all and remember........

Gee, Cert. I posted before reading your post. I agree that the Cavs will probably win, but my bet is that it won't be easy and the Stons will cover.

Good Luck

brass balls for anyone backing the Stones, but anyone think the Magic game comes down to a last shot so i should avoid the ML and hit the +3.5?

...i'd love to see AI at home tearing people up

Yes on the points with the Magic. If the series was 2-0 I'd head the ML route but in a game that the Magic really need to win the 3.5 becomes invaluable imo. Probably can wait it out and grab a 4 sometime this afternoon.

On Houston+ 1st H- weighted more to 1st H

probably laying off the other two hoping Philly wins to take orlando in game 4. Cleveland wins by 1-3 pissing off a lotta people
