I see a great spot tonight.....A fade of Dontrel Willis...who is this guy to have 5 wins with a nearly 6 era...Thats a joke.....His team keeps saving his meatball throwing ass while Maddox's team keeps giving him the F-job. Tonight it changes.....

No pitcher in the majors has gotten better run support than Willis (5-1, 5.35 ERA), who has received 44 runs from Florida's offense during his 37 innings. Few starters have gotten worse support than Maddux (2-2, 3.86), with San Diego scoring only 12 runs in his 30 1-3 innings.

Opponents are hitting .248 this season against Maddux, who beat the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday as he retired the last 14 batters he faced in a 3-2 victory. The 41-year-old right-hander allowed two runs and five hits with one walk in seven innings.

San Diego's bullpen has allowed two earned runs in its last 24 innings and is among the major league leaders with a 2.26 ERA and .182 opponent batting average.

Add to the fact that the Padres are hitting over .300 agaisnt lefties and this is a Diamond in the ROUGH....
