FriDay Bases

Sniffing out wins
Record update
Another losing nite in bases, now three in a row going 7-12-0 -7.38 on the nite...officially a slump :enraged:
even the early wk posted series plays were pisspoor going 4-3 +0.4
YTD now down to +29.70U
My NBA and Puck plays saved the nite going 6-0 +6.5 and 5-2-1 +4.5 but dont count on mlb record.
Just for ref, I know we have many better nba cappers but I am pleased with a pos 46U on the yr so far being very selective as I am not a fan of pro baskets. Pucks have been unreal again this yr although most went unposted for various reasons up close to 390U.
Now if we can get bases straightened out I will be in a much better mood...I like my plays for tonite.....:prayer

901 Atlanta Braves* -110 vs Philadelphia Phillies x3...I believe Atl takes advantage of this series and sweeps a weak tm that has lost 9 of 11.The Braves are on a slide having allowed 16 runs in their last three games and six or more runs in six of their last eight games. The Braves have lost 16 of their last 17 games when allowing more than three runs. Wood has a good chance of keeping the Phillies low scoring and he’s 1-0 with a 3.93 ERA and 11 strikeouts this season. Wood is 2-1 with a 2.57 ERA and 25 strikeouts in his career against the Phillies. I think the Braves can the Phillie SP starting with Harang @ 2-1 with a 1.96 ERA and 15 strikeouts this season. Harang is a veteran is 2-3 with a 4.21 ERA and 46 strikeouts in his career against the Braves.

907 St. Louis Cardinals* -128 vs Milwaukee Brewers x3 ...i made this 140 so I love the early line. I know 3 of St Louis 's 4 loses have come on the rd but imo the Cards are the much, much better tm here. Martinez is a good young pitcher and he’s 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA and 13 strikeouts this season and 0-1 with a 1.96 ERA and 16 strikeouts in his career against the Brewers.Garza @ 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA and nine strikeouts this season and hast had good success against Stlou. The BrewCrew is the worse tm in the majors presently!!

My biggest play this weekend will be Cards to win series over Brewers...
Fri: STL Martinez 1-0 2.08 vs Garza 1-2 5.40
Sat: Wainright 2-1 1.71 vs Peralta 0-2 5.68
Sun: Lynn 1-1 1.56 vs Fiers 0-3 6.75

Also I'm leaning on the Yankees to cool off the Mets... Even though DeGrom,Harvey 1st two games. Awaiting the price.

911 Pittsburgh Pirates* -134 vs Arizona Diamondbacks x 2 .... DBacks have scored 14 runs in their last three games and four or more in four of their last six games. But the scoring comes to a stop tomorrow when Cole takes the mound. He has impressed me this season and is he’s 2-0 with a 2.65 ERA and 20 strikeouts this season. Collmenter at 1-2 with a 3.38 ERA and seven strikeouts isnt bad but I think the Pirates bats can hit him.

Lots of Big Series plays on Fri. The only thing I can say about those damn yanks is they are certainly hot. damn yanks line has already moved 15cents @ 8:30. U may talk me into it but let me take a close look GL

BJ, lets hittem hard on Fri...lots of good games and I need a good day GL

cole a stud no doubt. the thing that worries me a little about backing him here is cards big power pitchers have a history of not liking to pitch in zona. not because of the park but they always complained about the feel for them of the ball down there and it has showed repeatedly over the years ranging from several of the same type pitcher. so while i have no idea if it will be a issue for cole, im always hesitant when a guy like him is making his 1st start there. no idea if there anything to that league wide or coincidence a few guys on team i follow closest have had problems? just always something on my mind.. gl blood, enjoy your work in every sport..

good to see U in here Marlo

913 Los Angeles Dodgers* -120 vs San Diego Padres x half ...probably should just leave this alone. Dodgers are off to a horrible 1-5 start on the road this season. But I like Zack Greinke and he’s 2-0 with a 1.83 ERA and 14 strikeouts this season and may be able to slow the padres down
913 Los Angeles Dodgers/San Diego Padres* Under 7½ -213 x1 ... I know most want play these kind of odds but this looks like a winner to me

910 Colorado Rockies* +102 vs San Francisco Giants x half .... Both tm are struggling a bit and this is a rematch of SP. Butler gets his second start against San Francisco. Butler won the 1st match 2-0 with a five hit shutout over 5.1 innings although he walked six. Heston lost that outing by a 2-0 count with both runs allowed (one earned) on seven hits over seven.

915 Boston Red Sox* -105 vs Baltimore Orioles x half ...I have gone back and forth on this play.Porcello was shelled by the O's in his last start and for the season he has allowed 22 hits and 14 earned runs while striking out 16 over 19 innings for a 1-2 record and a 6.63 ERA.But I still think the RedSox can win this one.Gonzalez beat Boston in his last start and for the season has allowed 12 hits and five runs while striking out 20 over 17.2 innings for a 2-1 record and a 2.55 ERA. Orioles have lost their last four games. If one digs deep into the SP #s Gonzalaz may be the play but i just like most of what im seeing from the Sox

918 Detroit Tigers* -125 vs Cleveland Indians x5 ....OK Now the Tigers know what a sweep and a losing streak feel like. I think that can do something about it against Clev. Greene has been maybe the best pitcher in baseball thus far with a 3-0 record, 0.39 ERA and 0.74 WHIP. He has gone at least seven innings in all three starts and allowed one earned run and just 12 hits in 23 innings. Greene makes his 4th start of the season and has simply been outstanding with one earned run allowed in three outings covering 23 innings. Salazar (1-0, 3.00) starts for the Tribe. He was called up to make a spot start on April 18 in Minnesota and allowed two runs in six innings. Apparently he earned another. The under is 8-1 in Cleveland’s last 9 road games while the Indians are 2-8 in their last 10 games as an underdog and 3-8 in their last 11 overall. Detroit@8-3 in their last 11 games as a favorite and 11-5 in their last 16 overall while going 11-5 in their last 16 games on grass. I may be crazy making this a big play but thats the way I feel. GO Tigs

Bad news. I played Detroit. Essentially an auto play for me with Greene playing on 4 days rest.
I am currently running bad in MLB although in the Pelican game last night I won with
Pelicans plus 5.5
Pelicans plus 8.5 in game wager
Pelicans plus 10.5 5 point teaser
GS minus 7.5 half time bet to have a winning day.
Colimenter inproves on 6 days rest.

Playing Wainwright could be dangerous.
