Like Dallas to get a win tomorrow. Bulls gotta be absolutely exhausted playing 4th in 5 nights. Don't know how butler is doing what he's doing. He is basically the entire offense. Most improved player?

Jimmy G Buckets.... For those who don't know.

Before the 2011 draft, one NBA general manager said about Butler, "His story is one of the most remarkable I've seen in all my years of basketball. There were so many times in his life where he was set up to fail. Every time, he overcame just enormous odds. When you talk to him—and he's hesitant to talk about his life—you just have this feeling that this kid has greatness in him."[1]

Butler's father abandoned the family when he was an infant. By the time he was 13 years old and living in the Houston suburb of Tomball, his mother kicked him out of the house. As Butler remembered it in a 2011 interview, she told him, "I don't like the look of you. You gotta go." He then bounced between the homes of various friends, staying for a few weeks at a time before moving to another house.[1]

In a summer basketball league before his senior year at Tomball High School, he was noticed by Jordan Leslie, a freshman football and basketball player at the school, who challenged him to a three-point shooting contest. The two immediately became friends, and Butler began staying at Leslie's house. Although his friend's mother and stepfather, who had six other children between them, were reluctant at first, they took him in within a few months. Butler would later say, "They accepted me into their family. And it wasn't because of basketball. She [Michelle Lambert, Leslie's mother] was just very loving. She just did stuff like that. I couldn't believe it.[1]

As a junior at Tomball High, Butler averaged 10 points per game. As a senior and team captain in 2006–07, Butler averaged 19.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game and was subsequently voted his team's most valuable player.

Butler was not heavily recruited coming out of high school and chose to attend Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas.

Pretty bad spot for the nuggets.... After the big win on Wednesday. Also this is a really important game for the heat since it's probably one of the most winnable games the rest of this month. Brutal schedule right now. If the nuggets come to play, they should win....big if.

played rox -1 for a good amount.

last roadie for Cavs. Just played tough game with spurs, i'm sure they drained, came out real stong too. Kyreeee prob out, LBJ status unclear. GSW on deck for Cavs at home.

Really like the way Durant handled it:
Kevin Durant was placed the fourth best small forward ever in ESPN.com's all-time #NBArank project. Ahead of players like Scottie Pippen, Elgin Baylor and James Worthy. "I've always been a firm believer in waiting until guy's careers are over, but a lot of people nowadays get caught up in the moment, get caught up in what have you done for me lately and forget about the great players," Durant said Friday of his rank. "I'm not downplaying myself, because I feel like I'm as good as any small forward that's played, but at this point in my career I don't think I should be on that list."

Was on the fence for this one but you have me convinced. BOL us :).

I also feel that it's a bad spot for Cleveland, but not sure I'm ready to trust the Rockets...

Don't like tonight's card to be honest. Was hoping to see Dallas +2, to get them ML for good odds, but the line is about right and I see no value in playing them. Still would take them if I had to, but skipping. Like Boston here, since they managed to win the game against Pacers and Phoenix are terrible. Hate laying big lines, but still thinking about this one. Also like the Over there.
Pels should finally make it two wins in a row and they really need this. But as I said before the game against the Hawks, Hornets are finally healthy and they were good without Jefferson before. Lean Pels, but easy skip in the end.
Was leaning strongly towards the Pacers, but Beal is playing, Stuckey is out and Hill is ?. If he is out, Pacers in big problem in PG position, so skip...
Was leaning on the Heat, because in their schedule, this is almost a must win for them. But no Dragic, Wade is ? and Denver been looking well recently. Right now it's a coin flip for me, so skip.

Houston will probably be the only bet for tonight, because it's just a terrible spot for Cleveland...

Silver's gone off the deep end...

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said the league will consider experimenting with scheduling games during the morning on weekdays to accommodate the international audience, according to USA Today's Jeff Zilgitt. He said this in a press conference prior to Thursday's Toronto Raptors-Orlando Magic game in London.

The NBA has spent years and effort trying to become a global brand. The league has played exhibition and preseason games abroad for years and has recently began to schedule regular season games as well. The NBA has also made strides in establishing a presence in China and other parts of Asia.

The possibility of setting early starts to accommodate those markets would be a logical next step in the strategy to become an international league. The logistics, however, will be difficult to overcome. Early starts could cost the NBA American viewers who are simply not used to watching sports at those hours. China is 13 hours behind the East Coast, for example, so a game that would be available in primetime there would have to start early in the morning in the U.S.

Silver also said the league is exploring the possibility of playing a regular season game in Paris, but there are no plans for a European expansion.

Yeah, let's inconvenience fans in Brooklyn by starting a game at 7:00 AM EST in order to accommodate fans in Beijing...

I heard about this possibly happening last year. It's absolutely awful for the players but it's great for us :)

Silver is all about getting new fans overseas... India is a HUGE target for the NBA and its getting more and more popular there as well as other countries.

This is really confusing.... the Bet% is on top of the money% for those who care

The pelicans are usually good on Fridays... i think the Hornets carry over the momentum from their big win the other day vs atlanta. Jordan spoke to the team prior to that game and basically told the team to stop playing selfishly and play as a team

With the Cavs losing 8 straight in Houston, and it being a nationally televised ESPN game, I would think Lebron would play. We'll see.

pau and rose in line up

mayo and bayless out for bucks..

george hill in

Wade ? with a stanky Vagina

Whiteside probable

Better for Rox backers that LeCramps is playing, imo.

Dude was fatiguing like a mofo last night, now he gets to run and gun with James Kardashian.

Cavs scheduling spot is a brutal one taking into account the OT game the other night.

Home awaits with a 2-day break and a date with the Dubs at the Q.

its really amazing how much houston has regressed

Tonight is about attitude. Rox would rather be somewhere else.

You can tell because they're not running, they win when they run.

Watching Jimmy Harden stand there after JR Smith picked his pocket and watch him score was disgusting.

Always the problem when you bet on a team with a bad internal culture.

I miss McHale.

How do you not show up against Lebron?

Dwight is a cancer

Maybe Van Gundy is right about the start time, Rox used to playing at home around 8-8:30pm ET. Game started at 9:30pm.
