wawrina outmanned, nadals forehand was straight silly, starting to look fresh again,

aza just missed out, had tons of chances to run away with it but kirlenko didn't allow it unfortunately, same goes for the joker.

Jelena oh so close, but that went as planned for the most part, sharapova finally started to land her first serves after set 1.

One thing I've noticed with the FO (as long as I've been following), is that so often in one draw (mens or womens) late, the Favs just cream it. Last year the female favs just steamrolled from the QFs on (1 dog out of 7 matches: Errani over Stosur), here it's been the men (the Fed aside, and even then the odds for his match imo telegraphed the fact the books knew Tsonga was on to win, much like Murray's odds vs him in the Olympics did the same), and I don't expect anything different for the final.

Agree with your assesment. However I thought this was going to be a very close match.
