I have seen a few posts liking Det, is that just based on how high the odds are here? Cubbies have been swinging lately and I feel like they usually play well in the day at home.

Mainly. Recent stats look like a coin flip so I'm seeing value, plus Kendricks hasn't been too impressive his last two starts. Hoping Tigers can get a couple early runs and hold on. That said Cubs hitting has been hot lately (maybe not that impressive against Twins, but they put numbers on the board against LAD too) and Tigers have struggled in interleague (1-7 this year)

Normally don't let days of the week records influence me too much unless teams are clearly showing something on a get away day or something like that. With the 4th mid-week, I don't think I'd pay any attention to how teams normally do on Tues, Wed, Thur this week. Even if there is correlation on how a team normally does during that specific day, too many variables this week.

Really a fan of Newcomb and think he has a pretty decent edge on German in the matchup, but been going to the Braves well an awful lot lately. Not a huge fan of the card overall, but hoping for a volume day on the dogs to get a small profit.
